About the lamb raviolis (just the smell of lamb makes me gag so that's another one!), did anyone else think of that scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding where the aunt is finding out that the intended groom is a vegetarian?

"WHAT?? You don't eat no MEAT??.......that's ok, I'll make lamb!"

Maybe your SIL doesn't really consider lamb to be "meat"!

I cannot eat any kind of fat from meat, just the texture makes me gag. My parents never understood that, and I remember sitting at the table for hours when I was a child because I would not finish what was on my plate......

Can you imagine.... Then she said well I made a really big salad have some of that...It was a Cesar salad. I am deathly allergic to fish, and cesar dressing is made with anchovy paste... Death in a bottle to me.

This is the same SIL who served me 3 large glasses of spiked iced tea, while I was nursing my 3 week old son. Because she didn't think it was a big deal. Again I don't drink and certainly not while nursing an infant.

Thats ok, she is allergic to latex balloons every time she comes here to a party, I hang balloons all over the house. Actually me and my sisters hang balloons and laugh our heads off. We have a repel Janice decorating party before the party. Then she can only stay outside. Then they say oh Janice has to stay outside she is allergic to the balloons. Oh my??? Sorry perhaps she would like some lamb raviolis and iced tea?

We were newly weds.. Went to my husbands aunts place. She is an awesome cook.

However, I don't like to eat the strange parts of the cows.

She had made a stew meat . Really looked good with traditional veggies and potatoes mixed in. She invited us to have some dinner and we accepted. The meat was very tender!!. My first two or three bites were very good. But when my husband jokingly said it COW TONGUE. EEEEWWWWWW I called EARL right away. Had to catch IT in the palms of my hands not too make a mess.

This particular piece of the cow is very good so they tell me. (IF PREPARED PROPERLY) I'm sure she did make it correctly . But can't handle it myself.

When I was pregnant and on a cruise ship, the Captain's Cocktail Reception served hordourves. I picked up something that I thought was just a fancy cracker thing and it had cavier on it. EEK , thought I would lose it.

I have never tasted the Beverly at Epcot. Obviously, it's quite nauseating. Can someone please give a description of this stuff?
