Did we make the right choice?

Okay. So we had ressies for Coral Reef the first night we are there. We have been before. The last time was in 2006 and we loved it. Great meal(my husband is still talking about it till this day) and great atmosphere. Looking at the menu(as it has changed and his meal is no longer offered) we are not that impressed. And let's not forget all the negative reviews! Anyway, we've decided to give Chefs de France a shot. Menu looks great and it's something new. Opinions please?

I think you made a great switch. CR dropped from my must-do list (it was one of my favorites when I was younger) to my won't-do-until-there-are-drastic-changes list. What was once a nice quiet yummy meal is now a loud chaotic subpar meal with pretty bad/rude service.

Les Chef's, on the other hand, has slowly moved up a few notches on our list. On our last trip my girlfriend really enjoyed her beef tenderloin (was better than any steak at Le Cellier, in our opinion) and I had the seafood skewer which was pretty good. The mac & cheese gets an honorable mention. Some people have complained about rude service but we haven't encountered that yet. I have also heard that the lunch at Les Chef's is really good.

I haven't been to either but I think you made a good choice. Those both are on my to do list and I really can't decide between them.

I love Chefs de France! We have eaten there every time we went and was not disappointed! The waiters there too are ooo-la-la lol I think it is the French accent. The food is super yummy too!

I feel like we made the right choice. We have 45 days until we find out for sure! I'll let everyone know!
