Did we even leave Canada? I swear it’s snowing Dec 2010 TR *PTR link pg. 24*FINISHED*

I tease b/c I love. LOL

ya well I'm not teasing... Patriots are gonna STOMP all over the Jets :rotfl:

Go Pack! LOL. Just had to join in.

Great updates, I missed a couple. It look like you guys got a lot done at Hollywood Studios. I agree with your statement about loving the shows at Disney. I love the smells too!

We did get some done but not as much as I hoped :sad2:

Congrats on the new job!!!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!

Monday December 13

Park: Magic Kingdom

Reservations: O’hana Dinner

I wanted to make rope drop today and have breakfast at the Main St bakery but it was a little harder to get my mom going today than normal so we just grabbed breakfast at Pop. Too funny when I found out the staff does the twist every day at 8am

day4132.jpg

We grabbed a bus and got to the park just after it opened

We stopped in the Emporium so I could do some shopping :rolleyes1 This is where I bought the Castle and had it shipped home for the girls! I also picked up my santa Mickey hat and my Tink mug and a few other treats

First we headed to fantasyland and first stop was the carousel which had no wait, followed by getting a FP for Pooh and a surprise FP for Philharmagic!!!!

Next I wanted to head right over to Toontown so we could meet the Fairies without a huge line. We got lucky and we were the 4th family in line!!!! :cool1:

This was the first time we met Rosetta and Vidia. Emma and Vidia were having a very serious conversation about why Emma didn’t use enough glue to keep her teeth in and why she was gonna get adult teeth when she was a child. Vidia was very good and we enjoyed her very much!!!

Leaving Pixie Hollow we ran into Tinks friend Peter

day4160.jpg

Next stop was Minnie and Mickey’s house. Knowing this could be the last time I see them I took A LOT of pictures. I won’t bore you with them all but here are a couple

Eryka begged to ride Barnstormer so we went on that with no wait!!! That seemed to be the theme for the day… no wait. Emma wouldn’t come ride it with us :sad2:

We got back into Fantasyland and we grabbed FP’s for Peter Pan and got another surprise FP for Philharmagic!!! Then we rode It’s a Small World

day4324.jpg

We made our way over to Pirates since it’s my moms fav ride and just as we got there the Pirate Tutorial was just starting so we managed to stand front and centre. Eryka got picked to go up and she ended up fighting Captain Jack. It was really cute. I should have jumped up here to save my Captain from her though :cloud9:

I love all the pics you got of the houses! I agree...Mickey needs a housekeeper :rotfl:

No wait at Barnstormer? That ride is so darn fast and yet there is always such a bad line. We usually make plans using ridemax...and even with that there are wait times of 20 or 30 minutes!

Great pirate interaction. I always love it when one of my kids is chosen to participate...such a special experience. :goodvibes

:yay: on all the pixie dust you got on your MK day - no waits, special FPs and Eryka getting chosen for the pirates tutorial! Looking forward to reading more :)

After the show we finally got to ride pirates with only about a 5 minute wait

We started to get hungry and since dinner wasn’t till 6:30 we grabbed a burger at Pecos Bill’s. I thought it was very Yummy!!!! I got the Deluxe cheeseburger and mom got the regular cheeseburger and the BBQ sauce on these was sooo good!!!! I would eat here again

We hit the Treehouse next with no line (there was a huge line for this when we were here on the Saturday so I wouldn’t go near it and it is one of Emma’s favourites)

Time to try some stuff in Tomorrowland so we made our way to that end of the park and we noticed that Disney was starting to cover some of their flowers and plants, you know it’s cold when

day4384.jpg

Once in Tomorrowland we hit Laugh Floor for some chuckles and then we grabbed FP’s for Buzz

We ran back over to Fantasyland and rode Pooh, Philharmagic and Peter Pan using fastpasses and of course that took no time at all

Back to Tomorrowland to ride Buzz, People Mover and the Carousel of Progress (this got stuck while we were on it and Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow was stuck in my head all night):scared1:

Now it was 5pm ( can you believe we got all that done :wizard: if you are keeping track that’s 16 rides, shows and attractions) so we decided to hop on the monorail and head to the Poly for Dinner. We were fairly early so we skipped Poly and went over to the GF so my mom could see the gingerbread house

day4418.jpg

When we saw what we needed to see here we were off to eat at O’hana. This was my moms pick because she loves everything Hawaiian.

We got there a bit early and there was a line to check in so I got in it. Just as I got there we were told the system was down so it might be a while. Well it was a while; we weren’t seated till 7pm

This is Emma in the coconut race.

day4419.jpg

I didn’t take many pictures during this meal. I really wasn’t too impressed with the speed of service or the food for that matter. I even told the waitress that the kids didn’t really like anything and she didn’t seem to care nor did she mention that she could bring out children’s items for them. Although I loved Breakfast here I really was not happy with dinner and will probably not do dinner here again

I decided I needed a Lapu Lapu with my dinner, hoping it would cheer me up

you guys beat me to the 3rd post.... keep reading

Another update :woohoo:

Love the Gingerbread house pics :thumbsup2 It's a shame that you did not enjoy O'hana and your server did nothing to assist in the matter :sad2:
Hope that seeing wishes made the experience a bit better.

Woah, you guys got a lot done! I love when you have a productive day at Disney.

I was going to comment that seeing you guys bundled up in the pictures was a signal of how cold it was. Seeing the plants covered up was definitely a sign.

We loved breakfast there so we will go back just not for dinner

Wishes was nice from the Poly beach (maybe we will have to stay there this year... see my ticker???????)

It was a very productive day. We were doing so much that I started a list on my blackberry so I would remember it all

Wearing hats in Disney was not fun... maybe it will be warmer for our next trip... see my ticker??????????

Another great update!!!

I agree with you on Ohana, except I enjoy the food but have had horrible service every time I've gone there!

You'd think with them always making the same thing, plus having a server, helper, and someone who will bring around extra food sometimes would help but it doesn't.

They always get complaints like that and yet people keep coming back..thats the problem haha. We've gone 6 times in the past 3 years and keep saying we won't go back but we do with the hopes that the service will improve...it hasn't.

I do! Exciting! Love having a ticker. You'll be there a little bit after my trip. I love going during that time of year. Weather is still nice and hot.

See and I had no problem with service at breakfast... is it only dinner that service is a problem?

Yeah sure do see it!!! :woohoo: on setting a date...you are going to be there the same time as us! :cool1:

We are there from Sept 16-30. Good luck deciding where to stay - we had a hard time choosing between Pop and CBR.

I have stayed at CBR, CR and Pop so I wanna try a new one. I have always loved Poly and Beach Club and WL so I have to choose

I keep hear a lot of mixed reviews of 'ohana lately. Both food and service. They need to get there butts in gear.
