On a recent podcast, Julie mentioned wanting the old TTA spiel back, including "paging Mr. Morrow. Mr. Tom Morrow"
Say it ain't so!:scared1:

I think when we rode in 2008 it was the same.
My family still does the voice in the car "Now approaching....Burger King" etc.

What do you hear now?

They bought back a narration that resembles the classic WEDway Peoplemover ORAC1 narration. Many people seem to dislike the new narration, but I truly appreciate them bringing back the word "Peoplemover."

We rode it today. The narration has changed. I sort of like the new narration. I have 2 problems with it. The voice of the narrator doesn't seem to work well with the ride/attraction. Secondly, the pathways that used to be dark were lit very brightly today including inside Space Mountain. I don't know if that is permanent, but hopefully it is a temporary thing.

Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like the cars were moving faster as well.

The Space Mountain section was dark when I rode it before Christmas. Very dark.

It is usually very dark when you go through Space Mt. on the TTA. I don't think the new voice has much passion. I miss the Tom Morrow spiel.

I hate it too. Both Sean and I thought it was awful when we first heard it in November. The cars do seem faster too.

I thank you so much for the You Tube video. I was able to bring up both the old and the new. I miss "Mr. Tom Morrow", but I see now I can hear it on the other videos.

Thanks So Much For That web page !!!

The TTA was closed for refurb when we visited WDW for the first time in the summer. I have heard the old spiel many times on various podcasts and the web.
Looking forward to hearing any spiel in person in 2010 :goodvibes

The TTA voice guy is the same guy who does Living with the Land. Bleh. And the character's talking just makes it sound like a horrible commercial. I miss walking around Tomorrowland and hearing the random classic comments like "Tom Morrow" from above. And, the previous narrator's voice was perfect.
