We have a split stay this August with the first two nts at the CR followed by the last 6 nts at the Poly. I have ALWAYS been able to make FP's for our entire on site stay up to 14 days. Now I'm being told I can only make FP's for 7 days and will have to wait until we actually use a days worth before we can book any more. I have been on the phone for over an hour now and getting absolutely no where. They're saying that it has to do with our split stay and us being AP holders...ummmm this is not our first split stay as AP holders for longer than 7 days. What is going on??

You need to think in terms of "reservations," not "stays." Your window for the second reservation will open up and you'll be able to book fp+ for every day you're onsite.

We have a split stay in August with AP's......four nights at the BC and 14 nights at Pop. We were able to make 15 days worth of fp's at 60 days.

You should be able to make your fp's.

My booking window has already come and gone and I still can't make FP's for my last 2 days which in terms of vacation days is day 8 & 9.

Exactly...our entire stay is for 9 days and yet I can't book our last 2days and have never had a problem doing so. I've now asked for a manager as I'm starting to feel like I'm stuck in the twilight zone and getting very frustrated!!

I'm sorry. You definitely should be able to.
Our fp window opened four days ago and as of today, I've made fp's for all 19 days.

Same here-ap holders, split stay and we booked our entire stay at the 60 day window.

I have to make them one day at a time. I can only book them for 60 days out not the length of my stay.

Thank you for confirming what I already knew. I wouldn't normally get this crazy but the last CM I spoke with was extremely rude and really struck a nerve

New record for me... Just shy of 2 hrs now on the phone with Disney as they try to sort this out. I FINALLY have someone who agrees that I should be able to make all my fast passes for my length of stay and I can now make them for everyone except my youngest DD who somehow has disappeared completely from MDE. They are now trying to get her back up and re-linked. UGH!!

Let us know when you get it all sorted out. :goodvibes

Are you using APs instead of regular park tickets? AP holders can only make seven days worth of FP reservations.

So is it 15 days of FP the max with an onsite stay and AP or what? I was told 14 nights is the max, then once the first of the FP days has past I can make more day by day. It was also mentioned that it's the same for international guests who can buy the longer tickets !!!

I was able to book Aug. 16-30, so 15 days at day 60. Then I was eligible to book Aug. 31st at day 59, Sept, 1st at day 58, and so on.

No, it's up to 15 days at the 60-day mark. But if you were on-site for 75 days in a row, you could make 75 days worth of FP+ reservations. The max is based on your on-site reservation when you have AP's.

After spending 2 1/2 hours on the phone and having to wait an additional hour after that, my youngest DD's info has been restored in MDE and I was finally able to make fast passes for everyone for our last two days!! While I'm glad everything worked out in the end, I find it mind boggling that 3 different CM's hadn't a clue about the fast pass/onsite resort rule. It was only when the call got escalated, that I finally got someone who actually had a clue...just another prime example of not always taking no for an answer especially when you know you're right :o.

I know. It's frustrating. Luckily, you were able to get it all sorted out. Enjoy your trip!

I asked on another thread about making FPs with a split stay and was told I'd have to wait to book the 2nd half of our trip for 60 days prior to res #2. Reading this thread, it seems like that isn't the case, and I should be able to book all the dates when the first window opens. Am I getting that right? (We are WDW veterans, but new to FP+ and it's already stressing me out!)

OP - I'm so glad that it's working for you now, and sorry that you had to spend the day on the phone with Disney to sort it all out.
