Did SW stop doing non stop to CA

Southwest flies nonstop to one airport in California from MCO: SAN.

Where are you trying to go? Virgin America, United, JetBlue, Frontier, Delta and American all fly nonstop to LAX. Frontier, United and Virgin America fly to SFO.

My dad lives in San Jose but I well fly to any city nearby as long as it's SW

1. Free check bags I can't reach overhead compartments

2. Open seating I like to control where I am sitting

3. Non stop flights I love the luxury of not worrying about missing my connection

My only gripe with SW is when you book it does not tell you how long your layover is

I have lived in San Jose for about 3 years now, and I don't think I have ever seen a nonstop flight to or from any of the 3 airports that are close by when looking to fly to MCO. SW does not give you layover times on the page where you search for flights and pick between the various options (at least that I have ever been able to find), but once you select your flights and go to the next page it does clearly show how long the layovers are, it is an annoying extra step, but you can still see them well before you enter your information or pay, if you don't like the layover time you can just go back and select new flights.

Yes they do. When you are looking for a flight in the box where list the city you stop in, click on the word "1 Stop" listed above the connecting city name and it will tell you what time you get into your connecting city and what time you take off from the connecting city.

Yes I saw that thank you

So send there is no non stops any way I think I well just fly into San Jose

Have you considered getting either a United or Alaska Airlines credit card? They are either $79 or $95 a year and offer a free checked bag for you and a certain amount of companions (1 on united and up to 6 on Alaska/Virgin). They also come with some bonus points if you spend a certain amount in the first 3 months. While you'd be paying for the annual fees on the credit card, if you fly more than once a year or with a companion, you'd at least break even and be able to take non-stops. You should also factor in that United and Alaska/Virgin America allow you to select some economy seats for free so you'd be saving the early bird check-in fee. Which even if you don't get the credit card still helps offset the baggage fee you'd have to pay on one of the non-stops.

Agreed. I would get the Alaska credit card. You get one companion fare ticket ($119) plus they offer 25k - 30k miles when you sign up. You also get free bags. You can use them on Virgin America which has some of the nicest planes.
