"Did Pluto Just Give You A Lap Dance?" 10 days of Naughty & Nice!

Hey, Dawn (or should I refer to you as stalker?!)

I just finished your post about Treynor's birthday cake and the DIS meet. I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but your pictures from that post are not showing up: it says they have been moved or deleted. :confused3

How cool is that that you got to see a celebrity in the hotel! I would have done just as you, pretended to be videoing the lobby when I was really trying to get celebrity footage! How cool that Mark was such a good sport and smiled and waved for you.
And how wonderful to get to meet your friends from DIS. That would be so cool!

Off to read the next two posts and then I'm all done! I'll come back in and let you know my thoughts.

:rotfl2: Okay, still laughing, sorry! Just finished reading about the hour and a half you spent trying to save a baby raccoon whose bad luck led him to a dumpster in a county where the people are just a couple a couple fries short of a happy meal.

My favorite:

"Are you sure it is a baby?"

"Yes."

"How do you know?"

"Because it was wearing a diaper and had a binkie in it's mouth ya freaking loon."

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: It would have been too funny if you had just said what was on your mind. A dumb questions deserves a dumb answer. Actually, that was pretty smart, if you ask me! :thumbsup2

And secondly, is it alive? It's Sunday. Are these people for real?

Good for you for doing a good deed. I hope the raccoon survived.

OKW sounds so nice. I have always wanted to stay there. As you read in my report, Saratoga was beautiful, but I think I'd rather stay somewhere else next time. It just didn't feel "right" to me. Too big and sprawling, maybe?

On to the last installment. Yay! :cheer2: I'm catching up!

So my life officially is a suckfest. Letting you know. Thanks for the update pics were deleted...because it caused me to go back and look at all the other posts...and they are all screwed up. Everything.

You see...last night I went on photobucket to get my life organized. Organize all the pics intp albums instead of having 2 million pics in the mian section to scroll through. Dan figured it out for me.

What he and I did not figure out and what now is making me sh!t a pink twinkie is the fact in moving the pics...it moved the address of them so now it does not correspond with what I posted.

I uploaded a whole bunch of new pics on the main page last night also from the next few days of the trip so I can kick out a bunch of tales of our vacay. Those I did not put into albums so...the funny in this is that on the intro page - Treyner is a seal and then you have my kids mounting shamu in what looks like a bad XXX national geographic of plastic animals special. :rotfl2:

So before I put the new page in here...I am going to have the fun of spending 10 hours uploading the real pics and hoping I can remember what I put where in my attempt at organization.

Frick and Frack!

I knew I should have left my dissorganized self alone!

GRUGHYHHHHH!!!!!! Insert self kicking smilie please.

Oh, that would be SO frustrating! I need to organize my pics in Photobucket but now I'm thinking twice...

I saw online this morning (one of the Orlando-area local news stations) that a woman was attacked by a pack of racoons. I'm so glad that didn't happen to you! Maybe that poor trapped racoon was just a set-up....with his fellow racoons lying in wait to attack the poor, kind, compassionate sould who came to rescue him.... :rotfl:

I see you are a young mom too! I was 19 when I had Treyner. Those boys steal your heart don't they? By the way...I di say Treyner is single - and cute...and I am his mom! It's a trifecta! :lmao::rotfl2:

 You're funny!! I unfortunately live quite a few hours drive away from Durango. You can have him look me up on Facebook if you really want! :rotfl: I'm sure he'd love that! Let me know if you want me to pm you my email address so he can find me!!

That's awesome that you were a young mom too! Its so fun and rewarding!!

Is the whole family coming down to CO or is just Baylor to go to that camp? Thats so awesome. Steamboat is BEAUTIFUL!! Actually, I don't know how it is in the winter, I've only been in the summer. That'll be so fun for him though! Snowboarding is awesome!

Feeling better everyone and will get the new installment up tom morning!

P.S. I think Kimmie and Treynor would make an adorable couple. :thumbsup2

Oh you guys!! You're so funny!!

Oh, that would be SO frustrating! I need to organize my pics in Photobucket but now I'm thinking twice...
In 2.2 seconds I was thinking - were there any I would not want people to see? I mean my kids take some shots thinking it is a gag between family ya know like me bending over taking things out of the stove!:scared1:

We are going to He!! together because I saw it too. Funny but not for that poor lady. Maybe there is an uprising of mutant racoons rather than turtles. Sick of being kept down by the man and not helped out when they are down trodden. Rising up with clenched, little, black fists saying they are not going to take it any longer. Maybe they have formed gangs now and roam in packs tagging their hood with their homies and she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. She was older, maybe the wrinkles around her neck caused alarm. - They could have thought she was with the rival turkey posse from the west side.:confused3 :lmao:
Oh you guys!! You're so funny!!

Whose laughin? Do you think I want him with some floosie cooch he meets in Vegas? Who might like gambiling more than Disney? No sir - mama don't play that.
K - adding pics back in - probably a few more than when it started.

Oh, Dawn! I'm so sorry that Photobucket has made you poop a pink twinkie! That doesn't sound like any fun at all, at least I don't think it does...hmmm. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Seriously, I can just imagine how bad that stinks for you. That's a lot of work, I know. :furious: I don't even like Photobucket nine out of ten times and to edit something is like trying to solve a mathematical equation. I never was good at math. :confused3

Just so you know: I finished up the latest update and I am officially caught up! Yay! That would make me angry if they promised I'd have a room and then didn't have one, especially with my child needing medical care. I'd shave someone's eyebrow's too. :sad2:

So excited that the kids were totally surprised with MVMCP. So awesome! I hope they enjoyed it better than we did in 2006. Can't wait to read more of your adventures in Disney!

Ok - so it was 2 hours not ten spent putting pics back in the right spot! UGH! I am not going to go back to the PTR anytime soon to see how bad that looks!

What caused my thought to organize was yesterday - as I wanted to input the pics into the next installment - we had a glitch.

A crisis.

I had a meltdown.

Ya see remember how I said all of the pics were on Dan's computer and needed to be put on photobucket? :confused3 Well when he opened up his file on the computer to move them - they were gone! :scared1:

I freaked out because I am so worried about losing pics! Dan had assured me storing them on the computer was fine. So he transfered them to the computer and erased them from the photo chip. That way we had empty room for pics versus buying more empty storage chips. Makes sense.

Again - this is my life though and user error occurs every day and sometimes that even means on a computer. :lmao:

So I have no idea how they got deleted but 500 plus pics were gone.

Curses to bealzabub were said and I felt gut rot. I was sick about memories gone and sick about not having any pics for my kids or this TR.

But - in that mayhem - A glimmer of hope emerged!

I remembered I had made discs last Christmas of them at Target! Glory sweet glory! I only wish I had remembered that 20 minutes earlier because I needed to press the wrinkles out of Dan's shirt that had been clenched in my fists as I held him against the wall asking him exactly how he was going to fix it. :snooty:

Okay - not really - more like it would have saved me crying and ruining a pair of contacts!

I will get some of MVMCP up tonight!

Day 4 - A Dog That Needs to be Neutered!

The kids were not sure what to expect from MVMCP but they knew it would be fun! They had been to MNSSHP in 2005 and knew the magic of the mouse.

Like everyone, we stopped for a few pics on Main Street.

00000055-2.jpg

Taking goofy pictures is great entertainment for the brats. ;) They know I just once want a a single picture that they are all looking in the same direction. It is now a tradition to see how many pictures mom can get that are not centered, eyes shut, armpits sniffed, wedgies given etc. Love them and it has given some great rewards - Treyner was regretting some shots at his Grad party! :confused3:lmao:

We passed through Main Street without collecting any goodies from the bakery and hung a right through the noodle station on our short cut to get to Tomorrowland. It is one of my favorite places here. My tummy is twirling just thinking about it. Love the guy on the loudspeaker and the thought that this hokey vision of the future was contemplated. First up was Buzz - Treyner as usual slaughtered everyone. Then we smelled Stitch and did the Laugh Factory. It was the first time the kids had seen it and it did not disappoint!

We did TTA and I love that ride! The kids rode in front and Dan and I were in our own car. It is slow and it is not amazing but it is so peaceful that I would ride it non stop if I could.

Space Mountain was done twice - once on each side and then the kids went back for one more while Dan and I sat it out. It got darker and more breathtaking!

00000056-2.jpg

By this time the park had cleared out from the non MVMCP goers and we already had our coveted wristbands so felt special when we were asked about 30 times to see them by CM's! No kidding they are thorough and it is nice they really do reserve this for those who paid extra!

It was so beautiful that night. Literally there was a sense of wonderment in the air.

Then I got goosed by Jack Frost. :cold:

It was cold! Minnesota people cold. In the upper 50's and without sun - I was wishing I had those mittens and hats and winter coats that the crazy locals were wearing. Or at least pants and tennis shoes! Curse you OKW operator!

We were all hungry by then and chose Cosmic Rays for supper. I had never been there but had heard great selection and great quality were common in all the stations they offered. Dan went to get his chicken on and the rest of us ordered burgers. Bacon double for the boys.

It was really good. Fresh tasting and not over processed, pre-formed crud like at many CS places here. Large drinks were given for our dining plan and the chocolate & carrot cakes were a hit as well. Treyner finished his and the rest of mine and come to think about it - a few of Dan's tenders as well. If he ever stops working out as hard as he does - his caboose will be the size of Rhode Island! Which works out since we would be neighbors then!
:rotfl:
The kids insisted on riding the speedway and so I let them go have fun. I get sick on that ride with the stop...-go...-neck jerk movements. Add to that the fact that my kids will not follow the rules and accidentally ram your caboose means I will let them get whiplash or maimed. Mama can't get hurt cause she needs to drive the car to the hospital when it is all over! Again, I amaze myself at my angelic, giving nature! :littleangel:

The kids came running over to us when it was over and were breathlessly asking if we had seen the castle yet. They got a sneak peek on their car tour and I was a little disappointed I did not see this holy of holy Disney moments with them. We scooted out behind, to the castle and just stood there staring.

"It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen," emanated from my eldest’s mouth. I totally got teary and then listened as he called his girlfriend and 3 guys friends to tell them about it. Pretty cool for an 18 year old boy to be sure of himself enough to use the word beautiful in any sentence with his buddies and have it not be about a girl!

We took some pics and like all who have came before or since have said - you have to behold it in person to appreciate the awe. Like the most stunning thing you have ever seen. I love nature and love all that God has put on this earth but that castle my friends - beyond description. It is what I envision heaven must be. Blinding and brilliant and breathtaking and something you can't tear your eyes from. Carsyn took most of the pics here.

(our Christmas card picture)

00000059-2.jpg

Just then we heard the calls for the stage show in front of the castle. We made our way to the side and stood an watched. Really fun and something I think they do a great job with for everyone. Sometimes they get too cornball for me or gear the shows to a younger crowd. Maybe it's just because I like Christmas so much that I loved it.

00000003.jpg

Now see the hound here? It is my belief that he is the same culprit later in the parade gettin jiggy with it as well as dancing provocatively here.

You see for part of the show - Pluto is in the back row, all non-chalant, but I had my eye on him. I caught his little wiggle and little tail wag with the snow skater, princess in white that was swaying in front of him. I saw him doing a little bumpity bump to her rump and although it was not overt - it was confirmed by at least 2 witnesses who will remain nameless incase I get booted for good for writing this.

It was like a hip hop video gone awry! Animal planet meets Puff Daddy. P-diddy. Puffy Paint. Poofy Poop. You know who I am talking about.

Not as overt as Kanye would have been. He would have had that snowflake in the center stage, paws all over the place singing, "Who Let the Dogs Out!"

Nope - ole Pluto was getting his mack on covert style. He did appear to be smiling after. And if you look at this picture - notice how he is staring straight at me? Like I am the only one in the crowd?
00000001.jpg

That's cause he knew I was on to his playboy ways and had given him the Focker fingers!

Part 2 of MVMCP up next!

Hi, Dawn! Loved the last update. Wow! The castle is soooo beautiful! I've never seen it lit up that way, but I imagine the pictures don't do it any justice. I will say you got some REALLY great shots, though! The castle between the two trees is my favorite one.

How hilarious is that that you caught Pluto getting his groove on??? :rotfl:

I can't wait to hear more...:worship:

Whose laughin? Do you think I want him with some floosie cooch he meets in Vegas? Who might like gambiling more than Disney? No sir - mama don't play that.

I see your point!! And I could just see it now...you meeting one of Treyner's girlfriends and the first question you ask is where she likes to vacation. How much does she like Disney!!
Well I love Disney. And I need a guy who likes Disney since I DO plan on getting married there...I bet Treyner's mom would be okay with that! ;)

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm loving your update! I want to go to MVMCP so bad!! The castle really is beautiful!! Was it warmer during the day?! I bet I would've been chilled to! Can't wait to read more! I love the way you write! One of my favorite tr's! :goodvibes

I will tell Carsyn - she wants to be a photographer!

Tell me though that it doesn't look like Pluto is staring straight at me! Loke Oh Shoot! I just got caught!:lmao:

We are golden and your son is adorable and Treyner loves kids so who knows? Stranger things have happened!

It was warmer during the day and I really do appreciate your kind words! Maybe some of your fans will head over here too! I hope I can semd some your way cause the pics of Landon are worth everything!

Wow. I just found this today and read it all in one sitting (of course, I SHOULD be working). You have a great family and a terrific sense of humor. I"m off now to find your PTR and read it. Backwards, I know, but that's how I roll :rotfl:.

PS - as a former Minnesota girl ( and with parents who still live there) I feel your pain over the sudden cold weather. On the plus side, the Vikes did great last night against the Pack!

Go Vikes and I must say last night was awesome! Where did you live when you were here?

I have not looked at my PTR pics and if you just linked with the provided tabs you probably missed the fact that 2 days ago I moved pictures to albums in hopes of simplyfing and organizing on photobucket. Yeah great idea but moving them moved the address bars so none of the pics matched and I had to spend 2 hours yesterday fixing the TR alone! The PTR is funny with the stories I wrote - someday I will get that organized - not making a promise though!

Off for Part Deux of MVMCP!

Day 4 - Would Someone Neuter That Dog!

After giving one last Focker farewell to pervert pup, we went back towards Cosmic Rays where they had a Santa Stop set up. In here was free cookies and hot chocolate and we put them both to great use!

Next Up for us is Fantasyland and the kids went on the Teacups while Dan and I prayed for vomit! ;) Not really but since "Stand by Me" who hasn't wanted to witness the equivalent to the Blueberry Barfarama?! Maybe it's just me.:rolleyes1

We saw Snow White hanging out with my ex-MIL :stir: er I mean witch, bounced along with Pooh, flew with Peter Pan and his manly tights and did not go on Small World because Treyner did not have a bag of baseballs with. :duck:

So we went to Donald's Philharmonic. This means 3D glasses for my kids and plenty of goony faces!

00000011.jpg

00000012.jpg

That show is so fun and although the whole Fantasia music thing is not my favorite, anytime you can incorporate food smells and people screaming- it's a party in my book! party:

We hit some other highlights of Splash Mountain (thank goodness we did not get too wet) and Big Thunder. Baylor was getting tired of walking by then and we were really glad we had the guest pass. Most places allowed you to just get in the Fast Pass lanes so it was not so obvious you were there for a medical reason. The kids did Big Thunder a second time and we sat outside the exit area chatting with a nice CM who was from Minnesota.

He asked if we were celebrating anything - I said the boys birthdays and when they came out he made a big deal about it. I explained we were glad to be there because of Baylor's injury and he made an extra special effort to engage Baylor after they got out. He offered Baylor the chance to ride again in the car of his choice and Baylor declined sheepishly. He was ready to sit for awhile. Baylor talked about that CM the rest of the night about how nice he was.

The Haunted Mansion is one of our favorites and while we stood in line Treyner put his arm around me and talked to me quietly. We are very close and we still talk almost daily even though he is at college. :lovestruc

He mentioned the fact that at his senior parents night at soccer he had chosen me as the person who inspires him the most.

I said, "Yeah, I know I was there! They announced it over the loudspeaker and everyone looked at me like you were insane!"

The truth is, that soccer night, was probably the most special in my life. Long story about drama between Football and Soccer but the gist is that Treyner had never played HS soccer until that year. His Dad tends to be someone who is supportive but not actively busy pursuing things ahead of time. Like he never looked into colleges for Treyner. Not on a calendar means that he does not think of what needs to be done. But he has been the main man in Treyner's life and they have a strong bond and I know how much Treyner worshipped his father's college career in sports. He grew up going to his Dad's games - how could he not?

So the fact his Dad, his coach and his idol since he could breathe was there and Treyner knew that he would be was huge in his decision to name me the recipient of, "Who Do You Admire the Most."

They went through each senior, listed their parents, favorite food, music, songs, best soccer moment and last was this. Many kids listed a pro player. one a father, some rich business men but my son choose me. His reason..."Treyner choose his mother because she never takes no for an answer when something needs to get done. She will not let any obstacle get in the way for what is best for her family and he hopes someday to teach his own children those goals."

Well of course I was bawling and proud and embarrassed all at the same time. So now he is mentioning this again here, at WDW in the Magic Kingdom in the queue line for Haunted Mansion. I think the privacy and dark line gave him some courage but he leaned over and planted a zerbert :love2: on my cheek and said:
"Just like you getting us here for this Mom. Most people would have thrown in the towel after Baylor got hurt. Most people would have been intimidated when the teachers said it was too much to add to the missed time we had when Baylor was in the hospital. Most people would have focused on the money we don't have to come here now because you missed so much work. But you, you insisted that this was what was important. That this is what we needed as a family and you were right. Thanks for never taking the easy way out."

What I did not know was that Dan had snapped a picture of us in that few minutes of magic. This picture is so special to me, I can't even begin to tell you.

00000014.jpg

By this time we had indulged in a few more hot chocolate moments and sat down with our cup oh heaven to get a spot for a parade. Found a ledge that kept our tukkuses off the frozen pavement and let some young kids sit in front of us.

We were just outside the Christmas shop side entrance in Frontierland all these little kids were being hoisted into a sleigh for pictures. It was so cute and for an instant it made me want to go get them all matching outfits.

Then I got hit with a sleeve of a jacket as the boys had pulled their arms inside their clothes to keep themselves warmer and what else would you do with hanging sleeves but twist your body around to hit each other with them? At that point I wanted matching straight jackets  but alas, the Christmas Store was all out. :upsidedow

Here are some highlights of the parade. It was quite good and one float had smoke billowing outthe top that smelled like marshmallows!

00000030.jpg

00000031.jpg

But just as I could not contain myself with the sugary sweetness of Disney at Christmas...along came:

00000018.jpg

He was all riled up after the snow flake princess and was busy sniffing out his next lovah. He eyed in on a lady a few feet away and tried to get her to stand and dance. She was not having any of it and so he sort of danced at her. She looked like she wasn’t sure if she should check her wallet for dollar bills or look for a defibrillator.

After he got the hint that "homie don't play that" he sauntered off, skipping along, tongue wagging and looking intent to find a fire hydrant.

I leaned over and asked her, "Did Pluto just give you a lap dance?"

In which she replied, "yes and I can't find it anywhere on the program."

I said she skimmed over it. Page 2 absolutely listed "Holiday Ho Down with Fur Freak" on the list of not to be missed highlights.

We both busted out laughing and I know I got some snarky stares as those looking for the Disney Magic in the traditional sense missed my version of an all time favorite memory. It was like being at a Chip & Dales show without the tacky cumber buns!

Great - now I have 2 chipmunks in my head gyrating to Rod Stewarts, "If ya think I'm sexy and ya want my body da da dadum de dum do!"

We ran through Pirates and then headed out after the fireworks.
Took some more pics of the castle
00000009.jpg

We were frozen and still had no idea if we had a room to crash in! It had been a long day of saving racoons, frustrated room ladies and a long but fun night.

On the way out - Carsyn had to grab some pics with her favorite, tall, dark and handsome! Notice she picked up some skills from Pluto and learned the evasive hand on knee trick!

Ok, I'm a lurker....read your PTR and have been keeping up with your TR. Its been thigh slappin' and tear jerkin', tragic and inspirational! But I had to let you know that this last post made me cry and laugh so hard that I snorted my cmilk out my very stuffed up nose....which by the way was quite painfull but is now clear:rotfl:

Your writing style is great and I look forward to more!:goodvibes

Holy Smokes Batman! Someone actually followed me from my PTR through all this? I would have thought the odds of makin it with a Yetti was better since my hiatus took a life time!

Thanks for not giving up and I am glad you laughed although I am not sure what cmilk is? Some sorta goofed up Canadian moose milk moonshine eh? ;):rotfl2:

I actually spent much of my HS years in Thunder Bay and love me some flannel wearing, frozen tundra driving, tabacca spittin, beard growing women.

Ok - I am just kidding - the beards are here in Northen Minnesota where the men are men and the women have more armpit hair.

Where are ya from and I did not think the last post was a spewer filled folly. Maybe you are sicker than ya think. How many fingers am I holding up?

Need to work today...but to keep you all busy - I did link the funny stories from the PTR that are well worth a read, in the first page here!

Enjoy!

Yay for a new installment. And that picture of you and Treynor in the HM, priceless!!!! And what an amazing son you have that he can and does say those things to you. You raised quite a handsome and mannerly young man. Now if I was only 20 years younger!!!

BTW - I am originally from Springfield (down by Mankato and Redwood Falls) but my folks retired to "the lake" in Walker. I also did my undergrad at Bemidji State. Yep, I know the frozen tundra very well.
