Did Not get A Pin Code, but Disney had it in Their Computer!

I did not get an email or a postcard about a special rate, but when I called to make a reservation, the Disney person on the phone said that she saw on the computer that I had been offered one and that she had the pin number for it. I got the $49 rate for Pop Century as a result. She said that they had loaded all the Pins into the Disney reservation system and that they knew if you got one offered to you or not. It might pay to call and see.
 
That happened to me yesterday while trying to make reservations at Boardwalk Inn. CM said I should have received an e-mail (I might have, but I didn't see it and I think my DH might have deleted it). Anyway, the CM gave me a price of $199 for a standard view room at BWI.

I called and was told what I expected - I wasn't sent a post card or PIN.

I just got off the phone with CRO and the man I spoke to said that I didn't have a pin associated with my name, but not to give up that the emails just started going out and I could still get one...he verified my email addy with me, so heres to hoping!
 
I just called on the off chance that this might have happened to me. Nope. The CM wants me to talk to guest services directly though so Im on hold with them now.

Please let us know what happens, im curious....my mom is calling tonight to speak to a supervisor to complain that we go just about every year and do the silver plan at a deluxe (mucho $$) and we never get any discounts (guess they know even without we will still spend the mucho $$.
 
Guest Services wouldnt even get on the phone. They told the CM that since I wrote an email this morning that I should just wait to see what they have to say but no no pin was associated with my name.

StaceyA I would write Disney an Email and tell them how you feel. Maybe if they get enough emails from those of us who go a lot who dont get the discounts they might consider changing things.
 
I called today and the CM said there was nothing for me ... Oh well, I guess it's back to waiting for room-only or AP codes for October. Thanks for the tip though :p

I actually emailed guest services today....I will report back if I ever get an answer!
 
I didn't receive the email either but did call about FL Res rates today and none past August yet (AP rates either). I'm trying not to be bitter but I find myself checking my email constantly and what a disappointment each time!! Especially when I saw that other people got the email again today.
