I reserved our airline tickets today for what I consider to be the top amount that I will pay for non-stop tickets through Southwest. They also had a link for Budget rent a car so I clicked on that. We reserved a mid size vehicle for Friday through Tuesday for $123.03 - I priced out both Avis, National, and Budget through their own websites and would have paid in the range of $120-$150 for a compact vehicle. I'm just wondering if I should have shopped around a bit more.

That sounds like a pretty good deal for a mid-size. The good thing about car rental reservations is that you can always cancel them and not pay a penalty. So, if you find a better rate between now and when you're traveling, you can always re-book using the lower rate and cancel this one.

its good there is only so much shopping you do then u just book i booked with alamo 9 days 213 total for dec
