Me and my two best friends... probably ten between us. We lived building them. when it was done we would sit in it for a day .... doing nothing. then design bigger and grander designs. It got so we were not allowed to build anymore until we tore down the rest!
We would go to the factories two blocks away and get the huge machinery packing crates for lumber. Some were 10 feet long, 8 feet wide and 4 feet high. We would somehow get them on our wagon and pull them home. Of course, through a dirt field because it was shorter. the handle for the wagon did not even reach the edge of the box, we had to tie a rope onto it. Ahhh the good old days. And most were waterproof. We camped in them a few nights.
Yes, a couple of different ones. One was nothing more than a couple of pieces of wood nailed together, perched dangerously between two branches, and the other was a very nice, well constructed one that was assembled by my best friends dad.
