Did Disney Do Anything For Mickey's Birthday?

It seems everytime you turn around, Disney has found a new reason "to celebrate all year long". I haven't seen anything for Mickey other than the statues. I would have thought this would have been the perfect marketing opportunity. Mickey is 75. That's a huge deal. Did I miss something?

Y'know, I really hadn't thought of that? 75 mickey statues, every one different and dotted around the parks is quite big... but they haven't marketed it! I suppose Disney on ice counts, it's a celebration of 75 years and requires you to (yers, that's right) spend money!

So basically that's it I think, although I don't know why they stopped at that

At the Disney Store, they have some merchandise that has to do with Mickey's 75th Birthday. They have a Mickey Mouse coffee mug that has different Mickey's on it with the years on it, a box set with different Mickey beanies and with the years on there feet. There is a Minnie Mouse one like that too. And there was also a smaller size snow goble that has Mickey in the middle, dressed as a band leader! And around the sides it has some other disney friends like, Minnie, goofy, donald duck and few more.

I love disney, Zen1:wave:
