Folks,
As a reminder, the DIS Camping Forum is offering a group camping opportunity at Fort Wilderness in the first half of October through a direct contract with Disney. In the last week alone, I have been contacted (as the chief cat wrangler of this here rodeo) by more than one person about available space for trips that have been cancelled or otherwise affected by the COVID shutdown.
In short, we have a few Premium sites available for the week starting Sunday October 4, 2020 and more opening up available beginning Saturday October 10, 2020 and our contract ends Sunday October 18, 2020. The rates are not what I would consider discounted (it's a flat rate so hard to compare to weekday/weekend varied pricing) but about average. Note I said Premium, not Premium Meadow sites. So I'm not offering you a discount - what I am offering you is availability.
There is a sticky on the camping board with the latest news and the original thread announcing the event is on the camping community board. I encourage you, if you are interested in joining us, to read post two which has many of the details.

We are having our one DIS get-together on Monday October 12. Attendance is not required but we would love to have you there. I don't know and can't help with current issues related to purchasing tickets, making park reservations, or all the things that are up in the air right now. But if you can travel in early-mid October and need your Fort Fix, we can help.
In a few weeks we will stop taking reservations and the block will be closed. Read up on post #2 and PM me if you are interested to start the process of joining us for the Fort Wilderness DISMeet in October.
