Did CC policy change your arrival day ADR's?

Just wondering for those that fly to WDW & traditionally booked a character meal dinner on arrival day, would you/are you still doing this with the CC policy or are you shying away?

Second question - kinda related but different policy - has anyone ever booked a 48 hr cancelation ADR, like CRT, Fantamsic packages or dinner shows (HoopDeDoo, Luau) for arrival day? TIA

I've always tried to not book anything with a penalty until our second day so now the list of first day no-gos is just longer than before. I'm a worry wart so I stress over travel delays.

I think there is wisdom in your post, I was worried a little too so I went ahead & made an ADR for arrival day that didn't require a CC - thanks
