Did anyone watch The View today?

If so, don't you think it was kind of ironic that Rosie went on a Anna Nicole Smith rant today? I wonder if she'll say anything about it tomorrow on The View.

Friday's show is taped on Thursdays, right after they do the Thursday show so they won't say anything tomorrow. I wasn't sure if you were aware of it, and didn't want you to think they were being insensitive, if you didn't hear anything. I'll be curious on what they say on Monday though.

Oh I didn't know that. Rosie was just basically saying what everyone else in America has been thinking. Just that she was sick and tired of seeing her on Entertainment Tonight all drugged up and wish she would get her life together.

But I was like...wow with all the Rosie-Celebrity arguments, I'm surprised the media isn't jumping at the chance to put that out there.

She also said that she felt badly for the death of her son and obviously there was some intense feelings going on there. But that she felt the MEDIA was way to focused on her which is a non-issue in terms of the world today and would focus on other things. So it really wasn't a rant against Anna Nicole as much as it was against the MEDIA.

But as usual Rosie is bashed on the DIS again.

The View is supposed to be about views, isn't it? Rosie is paid to say what's on her mind and, surprisingly, more people are interested in what she says than they were interested in Meredith or Star.

I didn't go on TV but I THOUGHT the very same thing on the way home from work yesterday. I heard a promo of ET and there was a soundbite of Anna Nicole sounding weepy and out of it. I thought "Good Lord, doesn't ET have anything else to do besides putting a camera in that woman's face? I DREAD what they're working on getting on the show now!

I didn't see Rosie's comments as mean spirited. All four View ladies seemed to have the same opinion as her about Anna Nicole. They all felt badly about the loss of her son, the constant media etc.

I didnt see anything that she said really negative about Anna either.
BUT come on yall even if she did, God rest her soul, Anna was a train wreck. Granted a crappy upbringing but there are people who rise above that.
Anyway, what i saw really wasnt a bash of Anna.

Rosie did not bash Anna She just simply said she thought that the woman had some problems dealing with all she has had to deal with and the tragic death of her son. Hardly a bash.

I never said that Rosie bashed Anna, I said she went on a rant about her. And let's face it, I don't think there is a single person in this country who wasn't already thinking what she was saying. I just said I'm surprised that with all the media coverage on Rosie and any type of celebrity "rants" it's headline news on all the celebrity entertainment shows. I mean come on...Donald, Kelly Ripa, American Idol, Barbara, Star, etc. I personally am not a fan of Rosie, but I didn't take what she said on today's show as her bashing Anna Nicole, but instead ranting about this woman and how she is chosing to live her life and then this happens!

I don't understand why it's so awful for her to have strong opinions. If you don't agree with them, then so be it. She's entitled to them either way. I respect people that hold true to their convictions rather than those that are wishy-washy or just say things they think people want to hear. One thing about Rosie is she is definitely NOT PC and I love that about her.
