Did anyone notice this at the Golden Globe awards last night??

Did anyone else notice the rough way that Reese Witherspoon's husband handled her at their table when her name was announced and then she won. I thought he acted a bit on the rough side with her. She even commented about it, sort of in a brush it off way when accepting her award. I thought she looked embarrased at first and didnt know how to handle it.

I took at as he was excited..and when she mentioned it she seemed to think it was funny.
I could totally see my husband doing something like that..I thought it was cute.

I think he was just very excited!! So was I... I just love them as a couple & Ryan is a hometown boy! He used to live right up the road & I;m pretty sure his parents still do!

I was watching it and didn't see it. Looked like they were darn excited she won. I wonder if they had a bet as well.

I actually thought it was just excitement and she was laughing. When she was walking he gave her a couple of pats on the back...a bit strong, but my DH would be the same way.

The way I saw it was that he must have had a few drinks to many. When they were going down the line of who was nominated, I saw him and knew that there had been a drinkiepoo or two in him. He was a little rough and slightly wierd. I think he was very excited for her, but the drinking kinda made it awkward. JMO

He also didn't have much sleep, filming, then traveling in from Canada just to be with her for this. No sleep, a couple of drinks, being excited for your wife, can make your sensory acuity off a bit. He had a bet with Joachim Phoenix about winning, so maybe he did have one with his wife too.

The cameras showed Reese & Ryan later, kind of sweetly spooning, nestled together. She looked caught of guard to see a camera focused in on them, because she was about to take a sip of champagne & put it down. Celebs never want to be caught in a picture drinking alcohol because the tabloids catch hold of it & it's next month's cover for alcoholism by that star. Their body language was very relaxed, close & seemed quite real to me.

I saw another interview with them at an after party, and Ryan was making some wierd comments about how she never stays out late, and since she won now maybe they'll be able to party...and Reese just kind of stared at him with a half smile. Then Ryan looked around and just shouted "DUDE, She freaking won!!" It was kind of strange and uncomfortable...but I don't know if that was just because of a few drinks or what....
