Ah, yes-around here, Christmas tamales are very popular. Many small stores put out signs suggesting you order your Christmas tamales from them. Then on the 12th day, there's that round bread with the baby Jesus baked into it, and whoever gets the Baby has to host a party. What's that bread called-I think it starts with an "R"? I don't like tamales, but the New Years Eve bunelos, now there's a tradition I can get into! DS had a friend whose family always got together and made Bunelos on New Years eve. Warm, crispy, covered with cinamon sugar-Mmmmmm!
