Did anyone get to make their FP+ this morning?

I was panicked I wouldn't be able to snag an A&E FP+ for my cousin (7 y.o) and her mom for our trip. We're going the 1st week in August and the crowd calendar is high. So I woke up before midnight and was ready to jump on anything I could get my hands on! I was able to not only get a pair of FP+ for A&E the first day of our trip, but also a second pair for the last day of our trip.. And there is still plenty of times available for 8/3 - 8/9. I'm so confused! I had absolutely no issues getting any of the rides I wanted for 2-4 people. We have 7DMT 3x and almost all the headliners. Only thing I couldn't snag was PPF for an AM for the 4 of us that didn't interfere with my cousins BBB appt but we'll just go after lunch, no biggie.

So my question is - is this just luck or did I do something wrong? After reading thread after thread about FP+ I feel like I hit the lottery or something and can't help but be skeptical

Nope, you are good. I booked FP's early and got everything we wanted. Then, my husband at the last minute was able to get off work to make this trip. We got his ticket on Monday. Our trip starts this Friday, and fp options are really slim. I keep stalking the website for him, though. Enjoy!

Phew okay. I was literally thinking "Why is this so easy?!" Can't help but think the worst sometimes.. Wishing you and your family lots of luck towards getting matching/similar FP+ times! And have a wonderful trip

E&A FP are easier to get now because they extended their hours. They are not 9-5 anymore.....they are from park open until 30 mins before park closing so it opened a lot more options. This new change just came into affect last weekend. Happy planning!

Good luck! I'm still tinkering with times because I was partially asleep while I was making them. Idk if it was a mixture of sleepiness and or confusion but it did take me an hour to book 7 days worth of fast passes for 4 people. I already predetermined where we would be for mornings and who wanted what rides - it was just a matter of having times work and not having to go from one side of the park to the other and back again to hit all 3 - so just a heads up!

But I wouldn't worry - there are a lot of A&E and 7DMT time slots available. Not as much for early AM, but around lunch time, after lunch, and evening.

Ahhh, that explains it lol! My cousin is going to be thrilled and now I have one less thing to stress about. Time to relax and count down!

This is a last minute trip, my mom was on vacation and on 4/21 became critically ill and had been on life support since, she came off the life support system a week ago, and is now talking and eating, and ready to go home, this is a celebration trip for my husband and I for all the stress and worry we have been under and to celebrate my mom's return to us. As soon as she is physically able we are planning a trip for her and my dad as well.

What resort are you staying at? We're going to be a POP. I'm so sorry to hear about the hardships you faced. I can't even imagine what you had to go through :-( but thankfully she is doing better now and I hope she has a speedy recovery! You deserve this trip - I hope you have a wonderful time!

Thanks, we are very grateful for her continued recovery. We will be staying at Coronado Springs from 8/3-8/8. Glad we live close so we can plan short getaways like this.

I made FP+ reservations in March and had the same experience. I stressed about it for weeks based on everything I read here, which wound up being a total waste. No problems getting A&E for a group of six and no need to do the whole copy and paste thing. I logged on right at midnight but I could've waited since they had availability for at least a week after my window opened. Also had no problems booking SDMT when it opened, but I think I got a little lucky with that since I managed to do it before the system crashed. I think people are more likely to share a negative experience than a positive one. Congratulations!

My trip is mid-July and I've set up all my FP+ in the past few days. I've gone in and changed them several times. I'm pretty flexible but my goal was to make them all between about 10-1pm which I've been able to do.
I'm not doing any hot meet and greets though.

Thank you! We have headed out and boy did I ever luck out! We have two sets of fast passes for the mine train. I am thrilled that we can ride both MK days without having to take our chances at rope drop!!!! Persistency pays off! I snagged them 30 minutes before we loaded our car!
