Did anyone else get a Disney Premier Signature card in the mail?

Hi all -

I got my first disney credit card in 2007, then upgraded to the premier as soon as that was available, but today I got a Disney Premiere Signature Visa in the mail. We didn't ask for the upgrade and both the credit limit and the annual fee are the same. I called and was told we had been given an automatic upgrade to signature level.

I am assuming this is a new thing but has anyone heard rumors about this being a new tier/level of Disney credit card? I didn't see anything about it on the Chase Disney card site.

Got ours too...looks like it just has some added insurance/protection type stuff. Nothing about terms changing.

Yes, DH got his Friday and I got mine today. The Signiture Package adds more security from what I gather as the PP stated.

Yes, we just got one, too. I hadn't heard about it and had no idea it was coming either. Just glad it's not costing any extra, or they would've had some 'splainin' to do!

The main thing I noticed was that they are doing away with the set credit line and turning it into a "credit access line". So, technically we could go over the limit (no thanks!) and not get charged any fees. The overage amount would just have to be paid off on your next statement.

Thanks for the replies! I'm guessing/assuming the Disney premiere signature has all the perks that other signature cards have, like hotel deals. Except its not listed as a signature card on the Visa Signature website. Does anyone know for sure? I can't imagine it wouldn't.

We got ours too. Glad to know that I am not the only one wondering why I recieved it.

Ours came in yesterday. DH called to find out why, and the lady he spoke to wasn't very helpful. Glad to see that we're all getting them even though I still don't really understand why!
