Did anyone else find shopping for their wedding dress a really scary prospect?

Jack bought me a new wedding magazine yesterday and there is an advert for beautiful dresses in there!!

Look a lot like the candy anthony, although i think the ad might only have the bridesmaid dresses but they are gorgeous and lush colours!!

I just wanted to put my 2 cents in, If you are bigger than a size 8, you NEED to call the shop to see if they have a range of larger sample sizes. I am a big girl, 22-26 depending on the dress, and I can not tell you how much calling ahead gave me a chance to prepare for it. I got lucky and the first place had a dress I loved and a large plus size selection, they treated me like a princess and made me feel beautiful. but the second place I went to was HORRIBLE and made me feel terrible about myself by making me feel like it was my fault for not being able to fit into a 8, and not calling ahead to see if they had any for me to try on. I did in fact call but to them a size 14 is plus. ASK if they have a few in your size or larger. If one shop gives you crap, dont give up!! There are better ones out there!!

I'll definately ring ahead then!
