I have been reading about Mk closing yesterday do to reaching capacity levels and Epcot not far behind did anyone experience this? How is the Fort is it really crowed too ....Are there lines at the comfort stations too :lmao: Do you need FP :rotfl2: I will be there next week do I need to bring a potty?

It is Spring Break for most Floridians right now...The parks usually fill up in march, april. Our break in duval county was last week..Fort Wilderness will be lots of fun,but quite a few teens ...

One of the many nice things about the Fort is that even when it is completely full to capacity, you do not feel crowded.

We have visited during some of the busiest times of the year (e.g. Thanksgiving), and the parks can be absolute mad houses. Back at the Fort, you wouldn't know it. Quiet and serene.

You have nothing to worry about.

Have a great trip!

Look, let me be the first to say, the people in Florida need to get over it, they do not own Disney. I am sick and tired of all these people in Florida thinking that just because they are on vacation and live close that they can just wander over and take the place over. YOU DON'T OWN DISNEY!!!!

I think in a situation where the park fills up they should start checking ID's and kicking the people who live in Florida out. I know I am not the only one who thinks this way.

For the love of GOD people, I am just kidding. I am hoping most of you are young enough and did not have a heart attack before you read I was joking. :flower3:

Glad i read your disclaimer before i got in my truck and headed up your way.

Your post is funny.....now. You're quite the trickster!! :lmao: You must be sad that the other fun thread over here got locked up! ;)

Yes, it is crazy over there. MK is closed, and yesterday all 3 parks were closed at one point. We just got back to the fort after a nice trip over to the boardwalk and and sending 3 kids on the pirate adventure over at the Grand Floridian this morning. At 9 am the lots and lines for MK parking were already crazy. Better to wait until the evenings, IMHO. I hit MK after 10 PM the other night and got to ride all the rides with not much waiting.

Hollywood Studios was a nuthouse yesterday, but started to clear out after the parade in the afternoon. All the rides were fastpassed out by 11 am.

I think I just swallowed my tongue!

What do you do when they close the parks? I mean, you paid to get in and you can't, sooo? do they refund $$$ ( i know they won't, but? ) I mean you would think they would only sell as much as they can legally hold, right?

There is some kind of tier system that figures in resort guest, passholders and others when the parks get full.

As a resort guest, you are guaranteed admittance to ONE park on every day... just not necessarily the one you want. I don't think all four parks have ever been filled to capacity at the same time. I do however wonder what would happen if you bought a one-day ticket to MK and left the park midday and were denied readmission due to capacity? Would you be allowed readmission to a different park? Cheap hopper? Maybe.

I didn't get hoppers last trip. If I was denied re-admission they would have to comp me somehow or they'd have one really angry person on their hands.

I'm pretty certain you're SOL in that case. I'm so glad I was at WDW last week instead of this week (although I'd be happy to still be there this week in addition to last week).

WE DO OWN DISNEY, IT'S OURS ALL OURS. We just invite several million of our friends to come visit every year. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Any time of the year busy or not is just fine for us. If the parks are packed we just spend the time enjoying all the Fort has to offer. The kids have just as much fun fishing, bike riding, the beach, playgrounds and looping on the golf cart. As long as we are camping at the Fort who cares if the parks are packed. They were disappointed they could not hit the pool with the new slide last week.:sad1::sad1: It will be hard to get them out of the pool this Memorial Day weekend trip, so we probably won't even try to hit any parks.

As my 2 year old would say MINE..MINE..MINE

Wow , and I thought it was busy last week, glad I was there then. Fl season passholders are blacked out right now 4/4-4/17 I figured it would be slower. Guess that explains why we are blacked out.

Oh and by the way, you had me going with the florida residents comment. :rotfl:
