Did ANYONE actually receive the "double rewards points" that were promised?

I am so irritated about this . We were supposed to have had double points for about a year on all of our grocery purchases, but all of my grocery stores showed up as "other". When I called Disney Visa they had no clue what I was talking about. I would have so many points right now since we use the card for every single thing we buy, every single month.

Did anyone actually get the double points? Heck was anyone even able to figure out how many points they're actually getting each month?

I called regarding the same issue -- Grocery (other). The BankOne (at the time) customer service rep. said I was receiving credit even though the line said other.

I really never had time to sit and calculate the amounts to see if it was correct. I can only hope we received the double points when we where suppose to.

I did get extra points that showed up on my statement, but I never took the time to figure out exactly what we got them for or if the amount was correct. My grocery and gas visits showed up correctly so I feel I probably got the right amount.

I keep track of the Disney points that I earn. You get a 1% credit for everything unless there is a special such as buying a package through Disney.

I can't figure out how to add mine up (since it doesn't actually correspond to the month you just finished, but can be a couple of months behind ), but I know there is no way we received double points for any of our "other"s, we spend so much between gas and groceries, we'd be hanging out at the GF right now .

I hope they really did give you double for the "other'"s, CBoysMom, but I'd be pretty surprised.

I hate to agree, but I have a vague recollection when we got our Disney Visa a few years ago that there were supposed to be instances when we got double points--never happened. It's 1% and that's that. I agree it stinks--very misleading.

Kelma - I beginning to think your right. I doubt I received the credit for anything that said "Other" and we spent lots on groc also home centers like home depot and menards. Those line items still say other. I am sure the bank card figures how will anyone notice or even be able to calculate the amounts.

I had trouble with them last Spring about the same issue, and I didn't win. They have all kinds of hidden rules like the "other" catagory for stuff that should be included!!! Also it is in a calendar month, I know that this time it said that, not your statement month, so that makes it harder for you to keep track of what they are doing. The only thing I did get credit for was on the deals for Disney on line purchases when they offered that like now it is 5X. Last Spring or Summer they had 3X and the credit did show up on a different line but as for the other double credit on gas and grocery its a toss up if you get credit. Maybe they have improved ???????

I got a few double reward points a few months - of course, it was for every dollar spent on certain categories AFTER we spent $1000 in those categories, so only on the amount above the $1000. We have one now that is offering double points on spending over $100 on gas, groceries, dining out, movies, dry cleaning, and health care for oct, Nov, and dec, so we'll see what comes of that. My grocery store comes up "other" online also, although Citibank gives me the 5% reward for it.
