Did any of you steal flowers from neighbors

not flowers, but I used to take the vegatable peeler out with me and raid gardens, I always would go for the cucumbers and tomatoes! LOL

When I was about 6 my friend and I decided we needed to make some money to buy candy. So we thought selling flowers would be a good idea. We picked some beautiful tulips and daffodils from the garden of one of the houses on our street (ok, it was the house belonging to the minister of our church) So we had them all picked and in a nice bouquet all ready to go door-to-door selling flowers for our candy. Well, being young and naive we thougt why not start right at the minister's house. So we put on our nice kid smiles and asked Mrs. White if she wanted to buy some lovely flowers for $5.00? She said 'oh those are such pretty flowers, where did you get them?" Now here is our big mistake...we told her that we got them out of her garden!! Mrs. White thought we were adorable and wanted to pay us for the flowers...however when she told our parents the story, they did not think we were so adorable. We both ended up being grounded for a long time AND we did not get to go to the circus that was in town. The next summer we decided to paint houses yellow using dandelions.
