I've been for as long as I. Can. Remember!

Not really.

And I can't understand why this exhibition match was said to be as big as the Stanley Cup by many.

People were acting like it was a Gold Medal Olympics match.

Didn't understand the hype for an exhibition.

It's the practice prep tournament for the Olympics and was the first time NHL players returned to international duty.

Not really. I enjoyed the bits of the game that I saw, but I’m not a fan of hockey simply because of the fighting. Other sports don’t allow physical fighting, why is it condoned in hockey? Yes, they go into the penalty box for a couple minutes, big whoop.

No. I have attended only one hockey game in person, at the old Olympia Stadium in Detroit. (Strangely, it wasn't a Red Wings game, some kind of college contest.) I just couldn't get into it for some reason. My recollection as a kid is that we were much more into sports that didn't involve so much expensive equipment, so I guess that's part of it.

I am already a big hockey fan, but the tournament made me an even bigger one. I keep telling my family they need to watch the games at some point, because I though the level of play was remarkable, way beyond what we normally see regular NHL season (or even playoff) games. What these people can do on skates is amazing!!

I'm only an in person fan. Never would even think about watching it on TV.

I'm there for the in person violence.
