Did an airline go out of business in Florida recently?

I'm hoping my sister is joking with me but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. She said they can't make it to my daughter's wedding because the airline went out of business. They'd be flying from JAX to BOS and I haven't heard anything on the news.

She did respond right after I said it was 68 out now and it could be a chilly reception.

From what I could find, the 2 airlines with non-stop flights from JAX to BOS are Jet Blue and Delta. Safe to say neither of those have gone out of business.

If you are going to make something up, you have to realize it's easy to check. I remember one time I was meeting my boss on a business trip, I flew PIT to EWR, she was flying PHX to EWR. She had a history of having unusual travel problems. She called and claimed her flight was cancelled because there were not enough passengers. First thing on a Monday morning into a major airport? I checked Continental's website and that flight left 5 minutes early. Hmmm.....:confused3

Yeah, I'm thinking she's just giving me a hard time because it's not warm up here now.
