Did a good deed tonight......

Well here in MN, it has been snowing all day long, so one hour ago I went outside to shovel our front yard and our back yard( and boy was it cold... ). Then after I was all done I went next door and shoveled the neighbors drive way. No one asked me to do it, just something in my heart told me to do( even though they will never say anything as they never ever talk to us, but that's okay). I know what I did and that makes me feel good( and that's all that matters.

I usually send my husband to do the same thing for our two elderly neighbors. I can't stand to see the poor old guy out front trying to get the snow off his car. My DH didn't mind too much anymore once we bought a snow blower.

I live in a condo/townhouse. We don't get our sidewalks done if it snows less than 3 inches. I always shovel my one neighbors sidewalk since she's in her late 70's early 80's. Most of the time I beat her son who sometimes does it. I've started my DD9 doing this too. I also have her do a path around the ladies car. I've always tried to instill in my DD that it is important to help out others, esp. the elderly.
