Diapers

Do they change a baby's diaper in Flounders? How about juice or cookies? How has everyone liked the CM? Just a little nervous about leaving DD (17 mo).

Good questions. From what I have read they give juice and saltines but do not feed meals. They ask that you do this before leaving them. As for diapers... I hope so. We will be trying Flounders for the 1st time with our 15 month old next week. I will let you know when I get back.

Yes they do change diapers however they do not feed them unless it is a bottle

They do give apple juice, too. Our son, 33 months, stayed there 4 times on our 4-day cruise so we could do Palo's for dinner and brunch and have some late night evening time. CMs were great. It's a smallish space, but DS loved their toys and videos.

Everything you read *says* they won't feed them, and they won't feed them meals. But I had a small unopened box of cereal that we had gotten from breakfast in DD's bag. When I picked our DD up, they were having a Cheerio's party with the cereal. It was cute, 4 or 5 of them sitting in a circle waiting for their peices.

So, I guess if you bring snacks they might try to entertain them with food if all else fails.

You supply the diapers and wipes. But they do change them.

The "no food" rule, from what I can tell, is an allergy precaution. If you send non-allergenic foods, they will allow your toddler to eat them. We sent a sippy cup and Veggie Booty, and they let our daughter and the other toddlers eat the Booty.

They claim to check their diapers every half hour.....

We left my 16 mo nephew there and he had fun, snuggled right in...

Since we are on the subject of Flounder's....has anyone had or known of a child who was "Kicked out" for being too rambunktious (sp?). My DS will have just turned 2 when we cruise & he is ALL BOY! Loves to wrestle, jump, climb on everything!


As you might guess, DH & myself are really looking forward to a couple hours of "Us" time!
