Hello everybody! DD #3 is coming this fall, and I have dreams of being more organized this time....:lmao: .... no, really. :) I'd like to have a diaper bag that doesn't cost $100  (or even $50, honestly) that I can fit some diapers, extra clothes, my wallet, etc., wipes, and toys without being a chaotic mess (like my diaper bags with my first two). I'd like some kind of bag for diapers so they don't get rumpled or dirty. I'd rather not do ziploc b/c I'd like something long lasting. I've done ziploc before, but want something more permanent. I know I can use cosmetic cases to organize some things, but they're not big enough for diapers. Also, does anyone know where I can get a bigger wipe case? The travel ones don't hold much, and they often pop open and dry out the wipes. A regular wipe box is too big, and again, I'm tired of ziploc - lol.

Is anyone out there really organized? Have any tips? Have the perfect diaper bag? Thanks for the tips! :thumbsup2

DS is turning 10 in a few weeks, but I LOVED LOVED LOVED his Land's End Do It All Diaper bag. They have made some design changes, but I think I like this new design even better.

Here's a link showing the inside of the bag-

I carried a LE bag for 2 years, it got a small tear, I called them to ask the best way to fix it, and they sent me a new one at no charge. And refunded my cost for shipping the old one back. That's tremendous customer service as far as I am concerned.

Wow! That's great customer service! The diaper bag you suggested is awesome, and I love that it has a choice of colors. I'm going to look around some more, but this one is at the top of my list! Thanks for the suggestion. I've also got my eye on a diaper caddy they have on their site too. Thanks for the tip, Debster! :)

Any other suggestions, anyone?

LLBean has the perfect diaper bag! I have it in black. It has lime green lining so you can actually see what's inside of it. A bottle holder on the side that will hold two bottles. A pocket on the front that I use for diapers and wipes (currently 4 size 4 diapers and two small packs of travel wipes, still room too) two pockets on the side, one holds his plug and the other has a fold up bag in it for dirty clothes. And the inside is huge!! I have a hip hammock, change of clothes, blanket, stuffed dog, and I throw in a small bottle bag with snacks when we go out.

I love this bag... Ju-ju-be has some cool accessories that I have been pondering just haven't taken the plunge. I want the mess bag and sippie shuttle and snack thing.

I'm organized this time!!

I got a skip hop off of Amazom last November for $40...the one I got is Dash, which is reg $64. I LOVE it! I love how it attaches to the stroller securely and I love all the pockets. SO many places to put things and be organized. I had my 3rd in December and I am a very organized person. I went crazy before because I never found one that I liked.

This is my bag. I have it in charcoal. Sometimes black is too harsh for me, so I got the charcoal to lighten it up a bit but also wanted it to be neutral.
The zipper pocket on the inside is where I keep my keys and wallet. That way they are secure. There are 5 other poskets inside, one being the length of the bag that has velcro on it in the middle, which can form 2 pockets instead of 1 if you want it to. There are 2 pockets outside on the sides and one across the back with a changing pad.
As far as the wipes, well I haven't found a bigger hard plastic container but there are the plastic wrapper ones now that are a thicker stack but still smaller than a whole container. I would say maybe 2 of the hard plastic containers instead of 1...maybe a bit more than that.

I looked at both the LLBean one and Lands End one. I just thought they were too big for me. I hate carrying a ton of stuff--a big bag. I can carry quite a bit of stuff int his bag without it being too big. And it isn't heavy. That is also one thing I hated about most diaper bags...they were kind of heavy with nothing in them!!! This one I have put in my washer on the delicate cycle and it came out fine.
I am looking into getting maybe another one also...possibly the saddle bag. I considered the Duo, which is their most popular and original.
VERY happy with my purchase!
Good Luck with your decision. OH! You can sometimes find all these bags on Ebay for cheaper also.

Before my trip last year, my MIL bought me a clear backpack. It was wonderful! It had a lot of pockets, but the real beauty was not having to open it ever when going through bag check at the parks. One security guard was so impressed with it he held it up for everyone else in line to see. :lmao:

To stay under $50 I would say definitely go for the Lands End diaper bags. They have a few different styles and all are made of great quality.
Congrats and Good Luck:)

My vote is for the Land's End bags as well, I think the one we have is called the "Little Tripper", I have had it for a few years and it has held up well. I like the zipper and the fact that it isn't huge, of course, as a Mommy to 3, you might need one of the larger LE's. I have a Skip Hop and I do like it, but my little LE bag is the fave.

Amie
