Seems Fantasia signed a contract when she was 15 and it's still in effect. American Idol rules state anyone under contract can't compete.

If this is true, Fantasia may lose her crown, making Diana the new American Idol.

Read this is the Enquirer, so it might be wrong, but lately the NE has been right on about quite a few things. We shall see...

Last year they didn't know that one guy had the outstanding arrest issues and he was asked to leave after he had gotten pretty far...makes me wonder how well they really check anything ahead of time. Hmmmm
