Any guesses how far in advance the opening day will be announced - months or weeks? Thinking of a surprise summer trip. My daughter has been to Universal a few times but we have not. Thanks!

I'm guessing the date will be announced in early May...maybe late April but not too much sooner.

Hoping it is not the week we are going June 14th but afraid it will be. Would love to ride the train but cannot handle the two big rides because of motion sickness but do want to see Hogwarts and the Alley. We are already locked into to our trip dates.

This is my fear. Huge crowds. We are going to Fl. the 14th - 21st. We planned to go 2 days with park to park tickets. House booked and DH vacation approved. Please let it open later.

We are going 18th June - 2nd July. We are already booked and paid for and all of us have booked holiday from work, so no chance of changing our dates. I am thinking it is going to be very busy, but hoping it won't spoil my holiday! 133 more days to go!

When WWOHP opened we had our trip booked, flights set, and it scheduled to open the day we got there...ouch!

But at least we already had our onsite reservations, at a heck of a deal, and so we were able to manage the crowd somewhat. This year we are booked in July, still busy but not during opening week at least....or at least hoping it is not!
