DHS to FW travel time

We have tickets for the 9:30 Hoop De Doo show at FW, and want to try and see Fantasmic at 8:00 at DHS. I know Fantasmic runs slightly less than 25 minutes, but then we need to get to the buses and travel to FW, do you think we will have time? We also wouldn't mind leaving Fantasmic a few minutes early and/or sitting towards the back if needed.

IMHO You'd probably have a much better chance if you took a cab from DHS to FW.
Everything would have to go perfectly to make it by bus.

Yep, I would skip Fantasmic in this instance.

You have to take a bus to the Fort, then switch buses and take another internal bus to the area near the restaurant.

You have two other options if you can stand in a central area and watch which buses arrive first.

You can take a bus to the Contemporary, then take a boat over to the campground. The boat marina is really close to the Pioneer Hall.

You can also take a bus to Wilderness Lodge, then take another bus over to Fort Wilderness. This bus drops you at the correct end of the campground close to Pioneer Hall.

I wouldn't try it. Even if you took a cab, the closest they can drop you is a bus stop where you take the internal bus.

Personally, I'd get to Ft. Wilderness early. Go first to the Wilderness Lodge and look around, then take the boat over to Ft. Wilderness. Then wander around Ft. Wilderness and see what many feel is the nicest campground in the country.
