DHS -- things to do now that Honey, I Shrunk playground is gone?

Are there other playgrounds or minor diversions to do with one parent and our 6 year old while dad and older child go on Star Tours (and then also when mom rides Great Movie Ride later)? All the other rides we want to do, we would do together so I am not sure how to use that time now that the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Playground is gone. Are there other things to do that the older kid won't really be missing out on but that will entertain our younger kid? He'd like Little Mermaid, but not sure there would be time for that while the others do Star Tours (we will likely get FP for ST)? Any suggestions?

If you aren't already planning on doing it, I would take the 6-year old to Muppets while dad and your older child are at Star Tours. It's cute and it's basically right next door. You could also walk through One Man's Dream. My DS8 enjoys that! Or maybe a character meet and greet? Maybe Buzz and Woody?

Maybe time it with the Jedi Training show...it is close by and might be entertaining for the 6 year old.

If it were me, a long walk away from family wouldn't be worth it. I'd just stay right outside that ride and try out a special snack or take advantage of some of the fun photo spots that are Star Wars themed. When my boys were 7 and 5 they loved getting the magic shot of them fighting Darth Vader!

I agree. Muppets or a M&G nearby. I could also kill 20 minutes in the Star Wars gift shop....
