Dd and I love to watch the street performers, are we the only ones? If they are out we have to stop and watch them.

In all the threads about DHS, I've never seen them mentioned (granted, I have posted about them either....).

Love all the Streetmosphere! One of my favorite things about the Studios is how the Streetmosphere has its own little storyline that carries on throughout the years. Each character has their own name, personality, likes, dislikes, etc. and it is great to see them interact with each other and watch how their story progresses.

we usually go to DHS just to watch all of the CoH sets. Many great people have come and gone and, IMHO, they were much better years ago, but they still have a solid cast.

Nope, they've been highlighted in at least one of our WDW family videos!

Love the spontaneity, and they are a welcome break during those commando touring days. :)o_O

We love to watch them. I just wish that we could still get a schedule, like they used to provide. I hate trying to figure out when and where they will be available.

we enjoy them and stop to watch frequently ! While I love the opening without the actual 'rope' holding area - I do miss the whole opening skit as well.

We're always on the lookout for the CoH! They add so much to our DHS days. And a day at DHS just wouldn't be the same without seeing a performance of Mulch, Sweat and Shears. I love those guys.

Before TSMM was added, the only reason for me to go to DHS was to watch the street performers. I'd go in, sit on a bench on the main street for a few hours, maybe eating a cookie, then leave. I thoroughly enjoyed them.

I love them too. I usually end up catching them while waiting for my DD and DH when they're riding ToT.

Well, I am obviously missing out. In 5 trips as an adult, i have always spent at least 3/4 of a day at DHS each time and am somehow completely unfamiliar with the street performers! (Don't hate on me!)

I'll have to watch the linked videos, but where are the performers found? Up& down the main boulevard?

On Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. Their first set starts at 10:30am with the CoH cavalcade and then they perform at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3pm

well I mean they always draw a crowd when I see them. We've been the "marks" of these guys a couple of times.

One time, it was a "struggling actress" looking to impress the big director ( me ) and Robert DeNiro ( my brother... who looks nothing like Robert DeNiro ). She put on an audition for me on the spot.

The other time, I was waiting for DW by myself in the main square entrance, and a car drove by and an actress came out ( with her "mentor" actress ) and she wanted my autograph, asked my name ( Stephane ) which she freaked out because it sounded so "exotic and french", then gave me a note as a proposal of marriage. All very funny.

We were almost late for our lunch adr because were watching Mulch, Sweat & Shears and having a blast!! They were so good, entertaining, and funny!

Love the Streetmosphere - you are definitely not alone OP! My favorite is the Hollywood Public Works guys that come out to "fix" things. Hysterical! Some of them have been around for quite a few years now. Dh and I make a point of trying to catch a sketch or two during our vacation each year.
