DHS QS Choices

We have ADRs for MM for Fantasmic for Lunch. Trying for figure out a QS for dinner. Since there are lots closings, I'm not sure what to choice. Nothing looks exciting. Any recommendations?

For us QS at DHS is basically nonexistence, except for starring rolls they have a couple of options, soup and salad, and a mixed green salad with chicken, and I like the Turkey sandwich, its fairly good, and will do the job of filling you up. Oh and we like the fruit and cheese plate offered here we share it as a snack. But I think most of seating is outside, so not sure if you want to sit out in the heat. You could take the boat over to the Boardwalk and check out some of the QS options at the resorts. You also could look at SCI-FI for burgers and onion rings, wonderful milkshakes, not a QS spot but you could pay oop for it if you are on the DDP. We have done this in the past, ordered a couple of burgers, shared some O-rings, then used a snack credit for dessert later on. or Beaches and Cream for burgers again not a QS option but oop it is a good option.

Backlot Express is not bad.

We have eaten at Backlot Express a bunch of times and it has always been good. We are just basic burger and fries sort of people and they have always been hot and fresh.

When it comes to QS and the Studios, this park is pretty bad. Outside of the lousy burgers, frozen pizza and chicken nuggets there are a few options but I'm of the opinion they are all pretty underwelming as a whole. ABC Commissary has some options but this place is my least favorite QS in all of WDW; recently there has been some love for it here on the DIS, but it continues to be one of the worst reviewed QS's. Fairfax Fare is another option and in my opinion is the only QS is DHS that is at least average and an option in this park. There is Starring Rolls as well with the offerings of premade cold cut sandwiches and premade gas station quality sushi; not a fan at all. However, this place does have some good pastries and cupcakes that are outstanding. So to sum it up, Fairfax Fare is average and everything else is either terrible to abysmal.

We really like Studio Catering Co. Backlot Express was also ok. I agree with the PP that ABC Commissary is the worst QS I've had in Disney.
