Dh wants to golf... any ideas where to go?

My dh wants to go golfing instead of the parks (I don't get it either)... does anyone have any ideas for either 9 or 18 hole with golf cart and green fees included for a good price, preferably close to WDW as we'll be at POP in 2.5 weeks (YEAH!!)

This is the expensive season for golf at Disney (Jan 15-May 1). Slightly cheaper rates are available after 10 am for tee times. www.wdwgolf.com has more info. Expect to pay ~ $100+ per 18 holes with cart - your clubs. They do rent clubs and shoes for a fee. Green fee will vary among the 5 Disney courses. Can't help for off - site courses. Disney resorts provide free transport to and from courses to your resort.

I can't help you w/ the golf question but I want to thank you for giving me an idea.....
I'll wait until our trip is closer and start a thread, "DH wants to fish..any ideas where to go?

I wish he would just be content with doing WDW like I am! Husbands just complicate things!

There are several courses in the area that are much less expensive. Legends and Kings Ridge are both in Clermont, about a half hour drive from WDW with greens fees and cart rental averaging $40 depending on the time of day/season they can be a little higher or lower.

It's a very easy drive.
