DH Leaves for Manchester, England today....

What do I want him to bring back to me. He went to Brussels, Bel. last week and brought me back these incredible liquor filled dark chocolates. They were so good that they were hard to share. I don't want edibles this time though, any suggestions?

I called my neighbor. She is Scottish and she wants Penguin cookies, so I told him to bring back some Penguin cookies.

Whenever dh travels he brings me home a coffee mug, I have quite a collection. When he goes to Belgium he makes sure he brings me home chocolates too.
If there is nothing you specifically collect I would just ask him to bring you back something that Manchester is known for and something he couldn't find anywhere else.

The MacAllan Elegancia, a 12-year-old single malt aged in oak sherry casks from Spain. I was passing through the Manchester airport's duty free shop several years ago and a salesman turned me on to this **awesome** single malt. Wow!

IIRC, you can't get it in the US.

I have a friend with a pilot husband. He began bringing her back small clocks from every country he visited. She wasn't too exited about that so I suggested maybe he bring her a Christmas ornament instead. I love to buy a new Christmas ornament from each of our vacations spots.

I collect Nutcrackers (the decorative ones you see at Christmas), but I always buy a Christmas tree ornament from places we travel to.
