DH and I are having our first stay on-site at the Poly this September because it's our Anniversary and he wanted to do something really special for me and this is it. I am also going again in October with my girlfriends, for free, and we're staying at GF. Then I'm going for Halloween with my family (DH and DD) and we're staying off-site
.
Here is my problem. Right now, we've never stayed on-site so we don't know the difference between on-site and off (we do Disney once a year). I believe that I will have a hard time staying off-site once I've stayed on-site and it's worrying me!
We cannot afford to stay at an on-site Deluxe resort anytime soon so I ran the idea of staying at a Value resort instead of one of the Moderates or Deluxes so that way we can enjoy Disney to our full potential. He is not trying to hear about a Value resort because "you get what you pay for" and then he says to me that staying on Disney does not create a feel of Magic. How can I convince him that it does and that we should at least stay in a Value vs. an off-site resort, which he says has two bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms, kitchen and a laundry machine. I can't compete! I think this is more of a vent session.
