This is probably a longshot, but I would love to hit the links for a round one of the afternoons we are down at Disney. This time we are letting the kids relax a bit in the afternoons. Unlike the first time we went and and expected the little darlings to last from park open till close everyday and be fresh as daisies the whole time!
So, I have never tried to work something like this out, but there are a ton of golfcourses right around Disney. I would be showing up at the course, renting clubs (not bringing mine for 1 round), grabbing a couple o beers and getting out there!
I am sure there are other DH's that are thinking (but not suggesting to their DW's) the same thing. So a twosome or foursome would be great! If you don't ask, you don't hear YES. Or, it is better beg forgivness than ask permission! Sorry, I couldn't resist! :cool1:

Let me know what you think.

We are staying at CBR arriving late Saturday March 21, leaving really late Saturday March 28th.

Darren.:thumbsup2

k I'm not a dh but we hit the links in December - my boys are older (9yo and almost 15yo) and dh is a golfer - so last year I got sucked in and now really enjoy golfing! It was a learn it or get left behind kind of thing!!

We did the 9 hole course (about all the uh.... 9yo could handle) but next time I want to try the magnolia - had a great time and was cool to have all that wildlife around us pretending we weren't there when we were golfing - that's the one with the Mickey head sand trap!!

Good luck choosing - if I can get another amazing priced flight dh and I are going to get away down there without kids to use our DVC golf membership.

My DH has clubs packed and plans to golf at least 2 rounds - maybe 3 at the Disney courses. We are at SSR so Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is right there. DH says they have a 2 round special but he hasn't seen the prices yet. He's a pretty good golfer but also really patient with with those who are awful - ME!

I am DW and do not plan on golfing - I shop and lay by the pool. So if you would like to join DH, you can pm me. I think the first day I have allowed him to golf (tight schedule) on Friday (we leave tomorrow and get home the 21st). Then he has the 17th and 9th free.

oops - just noticed you are there the week after us - sorry!
