DGH room request

I have been asked by a few family and friends, what are the best rooms to request at the DL Resort and I honestly do not know, so, I thought I would put a post asking just that. What top 5 or more ( or area) would be the best rooms from the Disneyland hotels. For the Grand Californian: 5 best in standard, 5 courtyard/wood area, etc, same with the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel. The only thing I tell them is to ask for the room with the daybed.
Any help would be appreciated.

If they ask for a room with a day bed in the Grand, they will get a room overlooking the Valet drive.

We love getting a view of the pool with DCA in the backdrop! I can't recall the exact numbers for our rooms but we loved the pool view cost (or standard one year) and the view of the parks- nothing beats Mickeys Wheel and part of WOC at night!
