DFi's boss is a Disney Convert!

DFi works at a company that sells and installs redwood playsets. His boss has a 5 year old daughter. They took what they thought would be their "one and only" trip to disney last week, and now he's hooked. He says he was "expecting the theme park thing and this was completely different." They were there almost a week and did only the MK and AK, and explored resorts. It was so funny, Mr. Tough Guy wouldn't stop talking about the trip when I asked how it was. He can't wait to go back, and is already talking DVC.

Don't you love it when people who weren't expecting to be impressed actually "get the magic"?

Oh, and the bonus- all this talk is getting DFi excited again, which is good if I want a Disneymoon to win out over the other honeymoon options!

I converted my step-mom. She is going back with us in December. Now my dad still won't go, maybe one day I'll get him to.

We've been bugging my uncle since his daughter was born 6 1/2 years ago to go but once he put his foot down a couple years ago that it would be *our* family trip and she couldn't invite (and pay for) all of her extended family and friends the plans fell flat. They finally planned a trip with just them and called us a few times. My cousin was in heaven - she called from the hotel and I've never heard excitement like that before. . . and she hadn't seen anything yet beyond POR! A few days later she called again to tell us about her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience and being named Princess for the Day at MK and when my uncle got on the phone all he did was complain about the lines, the crowds, and that it's all just a bunch of stores.

They were home for less than 24 hours and he was already talking, "next time I want to stay at the Grand Floridian!"

I know how you feel! One of my best friends had never been and her family had their first trip a few months ago. She works with a total Disney nut (went to WDW each time to conceive her children) and of course had me pushing WDW on her as well.

They got back from the trip and she said "I get it now!" She had on 2 or 3 pieces of Mickey jewelry, her DD was Minne head to toe.

They're hooked!
