Developer points - renting process questions

Hi all,

$ per point on the rent/ trade boards seem to be all over the map from $8 - 12 / pt Are there any guidelines on what is considered "fair" ? what factors do people consider when determining how to price points for rent.

Developer points expire on Oct 3, 2009. So anyone with DPs wants to get them used as soon as possible.

Other points, such as AKV or BLT, may require a premium to get these places at 11 months out.

Most people want to recover the cost of their maintenance fees, plus any other costs they may incur making the reservation for a non-member. Or they may just want to make a bunch of money.
