Developer points & online check in?

Hello! DVC newbie here - we are using our developer points in July. Just wondering if we can still do the online check-in when using the developer points. It seems like they are "off the book" (not showing up on the DVC member website, etc) but I do have a confirmation#. Has anyone done this?

Unfortunately, you can't do online check-in with DP's because the reservation does not show up on dvcmembers.com.
