Detroit Traffic

We are thinking about leaving for Florida next Thursday after dinner instead of 5:00 AM Friday morning. We would drive to Windsor, then leave from there Friday morning. Anyone know what kind of traffic we would hit along I75 if we crossed the bridge around 6:30 AM Friday morning?

When we drive to Florida we usually leave early in the morning, crossing the bridge between 5:30 - 6:30 am.

That time works really well for us. We haven't had any major problems with traffic and you tend to hit any major cities along the way during non-peak traffic hours.

Just remember that 6:30 or later you will start to hit rush hour for all the Canadians working in the US. 7:00 to 9:00 would probably be the worst.
