Yes, I also Lysol the hotel room as soon as we arrive. Learned that lesson the hard way!

Great start! I love POR. We stayed in the Mansions so I loved seeing your pics of the "other" side. The boat ride to DTD is the best - really feels like you are away from everything. It is so peaceful.
Thank you! We have stayed in both sides and I prefer the woodsy feeling of Alligator Bayou.

Coming out of lurkdom. I have read most of your trip reports and decided to get in on this one in the beginning. We arrived right as you were leaving. I love reading about your adventures and your special relationship. DH and I have a 4 1/2 year old DD, and I so hope that we have the close relationship with her that you guys have

Can I join in?! We were there a couple weeks before you for our first trip. While planning I kept going back and forth from Port Orleans to the Poly. Poly won out, but we did spend an amazing morning touring around both POs. That will definitely be our next Disney home (no way we can afford the Poly again!).

Yeah, I doubt the seniors randomly broke out into a cheer while waiting in line. Well, maybe some, but not a group of 50 at once
I will definitely try to keep up. I travel for work, but am in town for the next couple of weeks so it should be pretty easy.
We are at BLT. We have stayed there the last 2 years, and probably will continue to do so for the forseeable future. Our DD is absolutely obsessed with the monorail. Our last trip was a quick one so we decided to try Pop (which we really enjoyed), but Chloe didn't understand why the monorail didn't take us everywhere
Your relationship is very special. It seems like you have a fantastic daughter and I hope that when Chloe is Caitlin's age that she will still want to hang out with us
I understand her obsession. The monorail is very cool! I have wanted to to stay at CR since 1972 on our first visit. The fact that the monorail went right through the hotel just amazed me! My parents always picked the Poly though. Come Sept I finally get to stay there. It only took 40 years

That is so funny - we went every year when i was growing up and we always stayed at the CR, but wanted to stay at the Poly. I guess we always want what we can't have. Many people don't like the CR because they don't think it is Disney enough - to me it is Disney - That is the great thing - something for everyone and always something new to experience. Going with Chloe has certainly opened my eyes to so many new things. There is nothing like seeing all of the magic through the eyes of a child :good vibes Hope you don't mind, but here is a picture of Chloe from our trip last week. She is adopted from Vietnam. Can't wait to read more.
