It's all in the details. As in, ride details. What little ride details do you most remember?

For me, it's the Monk, slumped over and breathing in Spaceship Earth

and the hair on the leg of the pirate sitting on the bridge in PotC.

:earsgirl:

If you turn around and look on the canvas that the Monk's head was resting on, you can see he drew a little Mickey before he passed out! (One of the hidden Mickey's on the ride)

Love it! :3dglasses

I like the man going out at night to the graveyard at HM. Him and his dog both have shaking legs. And the man's hands are shaking. I really didn't notice it until I was stuck in front of him for about 5 minutes on the ride. Also, on Spaceship Earth, there is a hidden mickey made out of paint on a table on the left. Can't remember exactly what scene it was, but it is three rings that look like it was from the bottom of paint cans.

Great thread.

On our last trip on Splash Mountain my husband pointed out a worm wriggling on a fishing line suspended directly above us in the first "room". You have to look up before entering the second "room" or you'll miss it.

Also, on Splash I love the porcupine that sings "Time to be turning around."

We heard about a lot of detail changes to Small World the last time we rode it. In our boat a lady sitting directly behind us did a running commentary in each room about what was changed. It was too funny. My husband couldn't believe anyone knew this much about any one ride. I wish I could remember them all but one was about the hula dancers, apparently they used to not have tops on under their leis but now they do. My husband go a little steamed when she went on to say, what do you expect, this is the south.
I was just impressed with her knowledge. And I thought I was a Disney nut! :earsgirl:

My daughter likes the tarantula at Jungle Cruise. The CM really had her believing it was real the way it was "jumping". :Pinkbounc

Kind of a "big" detail, but I love how in CoP the only thing that stays consistent is the dog. :rotfl:

:rotfl: Here's one I noticed on our trip a couple weeks ago and it just cracked me up after I found how they did it. We never noticed before, but we got stopped in HM in front of the clock (you know, the gross clock with the spinning bloody fingers... :crazy2:) There is a shadow of a skeleton-like hand that passes across the clock....it's really quite a good effect. Quite creepy...well I don't like creepy things, so I decided I need to look for how it was done so it wouldn't bother me. So I looked over the back of our "Doom-buggy" and saw, they had a light with a WHEEL OF HANDS... :rotfl2: It had 4 hands that just rotated in front of the light...it was hilarious..you should all check it out...the effect is an excellent detail, but you really should look at the hand-wheel afterwards to get a good laugh. :teeth:
