This just seems like a very very unlikely merge. A details tread merged with a thread that just enjoys random pics from their favorite place? There is no similarity between the two other than there are pictures involved. It would be like merging the Nikon and Canon threads together.

....honestly, I have no idea how it happened, and really didn't even realize it until someone posted that it, indeed, did so....maybe the Mods felt it necessary to 'trim the fat' so-to-speak....whatever and why it did so, bottom line is I am very happy for the wonderful addition of great pix!

I think I'll have a detail shot in a few days, in the mean time, here is a random photo from Epcot. Notice the lack of people? It was amazingly empty that day. I rode both Soarin' and Test Track in the first 20 minutes in the park.

I've thought of starting a new thread. I'm also fine posting in here. I just know the people from the killed thread posted pics that were absolutely NOT detail orientated. And we loved that. But now people who come here looking for pics of the amazing detail of the Disney parks are going to be forced to see pics that are just beautifully random.

Yeah, most likely don't need it. I think around 90% of my 1,900 posts were on the run of threads that they just ended, so I figure I'm just covering my bases first.

And I'd like to state I am in no way bashing this details thread. I've posted on earlier incarnations of it. We just miss our little corner of the Dis.
