Destiny sailings in Nov/Dec, are they Very Merrytime Cruises?

The DCL website does not indicate whether the Nov/Dec 2025 cruises on the Disney Destiny are Very Merrytime cruises or not.

Anyone have any insight? I guess I will go ahead and shoot DCL an e-mail.

“At this time, the Disney Destiny itineraries for 2025 have not received the Very Merrytime theming. Although we may see these sailings receive this theming closer to the sailing date, I regret that nothing has been announced or confirmed at this time. I would recommend continuing to monitor the Disney Cruise Line website for future updates!”

I booked Dec 21-26 and was wondering the same. Not sure we'll want to spend Christmas Eve/Day onboard if the ship's not going to be decorated so I booked it assuming that it will. Let us know if you get a response from DCL.

I booked a December sailing and it was listed as Merry Time Cruise. I searched specifically for Merrytime cruises.

I’m booked on the Destiny in early December and I’m in the camp of ‘don’t care either way.’ I love the ships decorated for that time of year so I’ll be happy if they are Merrytime, but also if they decide not to do it for the inaugural year I’ve seen the ships decorated multiple times.

Maybe they can celebrate Wakanda holidays on board too since the atrium is Black Panther.

I will be following to see if any of these come true:

A. They focus on Maiden Voyage and then Inaugural Sailings. No distractions from the new decor.

B. They provide a ship that ignores the Western December holiday.

C. It was an IT issue, forgetting to write the code to signify the holiday times.

I'm on the 12/11 and forgot all about Christmas. I was just trying to get a good cabin location. It would be nice for Christmas decor but not necessary.

On the Destiny? No Destiny cruises are listed as Very Merrytime.


DCL may change and add the holiday designation to the Destiny sailings next fall...or they may not considering it's a new ship. They may include some holiday decorations but not the full slate of "party" activities on a Very Merrytime cruise. We'll have to wait and see.

We are booked on the Nov. 24-28 sailing over Thanksgiving. If it becomes a Merrytime cruise, it'll just be an added bonus for us.
