I've just been looking through the restaurant guide and looking at the photos of the food. there were some lovely photos of the desserts at Walts from 2005, does anyone know if they still do the chocolate Cinderalla slipper and the chocolate "paint your own" jig saw? i've just shown my 8 yer old and i don't think she'll sleep now she is so excited!!

thanks for any info anyone can give me xx :tink:

The slipper I know is only available at Auberge de Cendrillon, I will never get to try it now as my sons would die if I took them to a Princess Meal.
Not sure about the jigsaw, that may also have disappeared when they introduced the "healthy" childrens menu, she may have to make do with the apple puree instead, I sincerely hope not, my kids had the jigsaw at the Blue Lagoon and loved it, a really really fun dessert and it kept them quiet for ages. :)

Hi there!

No, neither of these desserts are available at Walts anymore. You can get a version of the slipper on the Childrens Menu at the Auberge du Cendrillion, and the painter Mickey Jigsaw I believe you can get from the California Grill for children. These would be quite expensive lengths to go to for a dessert though!

Sorry to not be the bearer of more positive news!

The jigsaw wasnt available at CG last week either. DD was so disappointed as shed seen it n on the Walts thread and then it was removed just before we went then last week when we told her we were going to CG I told her it was on the menu there but when we tried to order it we were told it was finished.
i got the impression they were due to change the menu soon

thanks for all your replies, at least i can tell her it's not there anymore before we go to save tears at the table!!! Can't believe they've stopped doing it though what a fantastic dessert for kids (and grown up's as i'd have ordered one for me too :rolleyes1)

Hi, we are planning to eat at the Blue Lagoon when we go in April, did your children have the jigsaw recently, I just want to know if it is current, as we booked walts on a previous visit to disney with the intention of ordering the jigsaw and had to make do with the puree :rotfl: .

I've got to say, I didn't see it on the menu when we ate at the Blue Lagoon....
