We are having a dessert party as our wedding favor for our Disney wedding. It will be a surprise to our guests.

This is the dilemma:

The wedding is in February and my wedding planner said that the temperature drops down to 40-50 degrees at night. As of now, we have 2 options:

1. Tell our guests to bring a sweater and hint that there will be some outdoor activities.
2. Buy wholesale blankets for about $150 so that each family gets a blanket.

The problem with option 1 is that it won't be a complete surprise. The problem with option 2 is that I don't know if it would be practical for people to be walking around with blankets but at the same time I think it would be cute.

Do you guys have any suggestions or any other ideas?

What are other Disney brides having a dessert party in the winter months doing?

Thanks for your help!:worship:

Can you have a dessert party inside, but of course with that you won't have great views of the fireworks. Since it is in February though, there is a chance guests will probably have sweaters with them anyway? I know during the winter months I carry one around with me everywhere, lol.

Will Disney allow you to rent the heaters? Or, you could have the dessert in an indoor location (there are a few in Epcot) then just move outside for the fireworks show.
