Hi
Any news on returning dates?
With buffets back, new staff onboarded… what else could be happening?

chances for Oct 1st seems pretty low but still have hope :)

So there is a pre- and post- fireworks party each night, Does that mean both groups are on the deck to watch the fireworks or only one seating gets to see the fireworks?

Finally got through to someone on the phone (2hrs 41 min). I wanted to check on reservations since it didn't state on the page. Only the Epcot Firework packages gave a date for online reservations (9/23).

The rep on the phone stated the reservations for the MK dessert parties should open starting 9/17.

Think will keep double checking in the meantime. It is pricey, but 10/3 is our only day to see the new fireworks show, so would like to make sure get a decent view for us without having to stake out a space so early in the day. We did it once for HEA a few years back and it made for a pleasant time.

Yeah I think a bunch of us we'll be rushing to book those when they open up. Thanks for the update!

For those that have done them before, are there a decent amount of savory options? I like dessert, but I’d like to be able to make a meal of it if I’m spending that kind of money.

I'm a bit confused on this. The new fireworks displays are going to have projections up and down Main Street. That's supposed to be what's so amazing and new and unique about them, right?

The Disney announcement about the dessert parties says:

"Delight in the breathtaking view of Disney Enchantment—a brand-new fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom park—without ever having to leave the Tomorrowland Terrace patio. Watch in awe as innovative projection effects bring Cinderella Castle to life and—for the first time ever—extend down Main Street, U.S.A.!"

But will you be able to see down Main Street if you are standing on Tomorrowland Terrace?

I just saw this on the webpage:

A Dazzling Nighttime Spectacular
As showtime nears, Cast Members will escort you to a prime standing area in the Plaza Garden for priority viewing of Disney Enchantment—a brand-new fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom park. Watch in awe as innovative projection effects bring Cinderella Castle to life and—for the first time ever—extend down Main Street, U.S.A.!
Delight in an immersive experience, brought to life with breathtaking effects as classic and reimagined Disney songs sweep you up into the adventure of a lifetime. Disney Enchantment features an original new song by seven-time Grammy award-winning songwriter Philip Lawrence.

So you will be in a prime standing area in the plaza garden. Should be able to see it all!

Ok… there are three dessert party options and the Treats and Seats option does stay on the Tomorrowland Terrace! You won’t see Main Street! I sure wouldn’t pick that option 😕.

This was always the worst option IMO... not a good viewing spot for castle projections and yet it has always been the premium priced option

I'm having trouble picturing the view down Main Street from the Plaza Garden. It seems like you would have to be pretty close to Main Street to see down the street very far. Once you get to even the middle of the garden, you wouldn't be able to see much of anything at all looking back toward Main Street. And the gardens get much wider the farther you get from Main Street.

No, BUT you might be able turn around and see Main Street projections if you are in the party garden along the fence that runs along the street. However, if I had that spot I doubt I would look away from the castle for more than 10 seconds the entire show.

IMO the projections on main street are just a way to entertain/spread out more guests to prevent a few more people saving a spot 2hr before the show. If all these people are holding a spot doing nothing for 2hr then that means they are not spending money for those 2hr.

Do you think that they won’t have the parties on Very Merry Afterhours nights? It looks like the Ferrytale Fireworks cruise doesn’t run on those nights. I guess that would save us a lot of money.
