I know we'll definitely get the Cookie boat but we also need to order another dessert since there is 4 of us. Should we order 3 desserts for us to share or is that just overkill?

For those of you that have had the desserts at BB, which is better the creme brulee trio or the key lime cheesecake?

We are going to have 3-4 people for dessert at BB as well, and we will each be ordering something. Normally, we would share like we did last year at Carnation, but there are not many dessert options and I am not sure if my friends like the cheesecake or the creme brulee. SO we may all end up with cookie boats! That is what I am getting, and I think I might keep mine all to myself because I am not interested in sharing the other desserts!!! They can have the creme brulee and the key lime cheesecake all to themselves!

I really like the creme brulee so I would recommend it in addition to the cookie boat. It has three small servings of different flavors that make it perfect for sharing.

Oh no, I can't pick!!! :lmao:

I guess if I could only taste one, it would be the creme brulee. :goodvibes

ok now this is just my opinion as it is with everyones but if you're really into creme brulee I would steer clear from BB's...they serve it with cookies and place raspberry on top of it and I have to tell you that if it hadnt been for the cookies and fruit, the creme brulee itself would have been like eating jelled water...there was no taste to it at all..very week..I really expected more flavor and Ive had better creme brulee from a bbq joint hole in the wall than BB gives...

I have ordered the Tortuga Trio of Creme Brulee, and on more than one occasion, it was simply delish! It is served with passion fruit, very tasty, creme brulee, chocolate, and vanilla. And it is served with a keepsake replica of Davy Jones treasure chest, tasty brittany cookies are served within it.

The Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat, is huge! I have not ordered that as of yet, for I normally cannot fathom eating that myself, unless I can share it with someone, or I am going to order Dessert only, which I have not done.

I have read posts regarding The Key West Key Lime Pie, and I would not easily recommend it, unless you are the adventurous type of foodie.

if one of us ordered the tink pirate punch and then a cookie boat. dont you think ited be enought for two adults and one child (who dosnet eat to much sweets all at once)
we almost thought wed try dinner but decied agenst it for now lol

I believe so Jade, for the Flying Dutchman Cookie Boat, really is quite large. I can also see sharing the Tortuga Trio of Creme Brulee, however, not so much, for it is a smaller dish, in comparison.
The Pirate Punch is tasty, and you can choose either a Captain Hook light up figure, or one of Tinker bell, this soft drink costs less at Café Orleans, $4.99 versus $6.49 at the Blue Bayou, that pricing being as of last month.

FWIW, if you have any plain eaters there, they do have vanilla ice cream (which I think is served on the side of the cookie boat) that is *quite* delicious (even if it's Carnation, LOL).

I love Key Lime pie but am sorry to say that the one at BB tasted like, to me, a Jello box mix. Not worth it at all :(

We got the pirate punch at Goofy's Kitchen last year...is the one at BB bigger.
Cause Im not sure Im willing to almost pay 7 bucks for a drink that wont last through the meal?

My favorite dessert in all of Disneyland is the creme brulee. I didn't much care for the chocolate so last time I went they were very obliging and substituted one of the other flavors for me.

Well, you're paying for the cup and the light up clip thing. Not the beverage.

lol well plans changed again were doing lunch and desert at bb but i gave up pirate drink i have tink and hook just need new battery for tink

Thanks you guys for the responses. I think we'll get the cookie boat for the kids and the creme brulee trio for the hubby and I. :cool1:

We just had lunch at the Blue Bayou on the 14th and had the trio of creme brulee and it was absolutely delicious!
It was the best thing about the meal!
My friend and I shared and although the servings are not large, it is very rich so we would not have considered an order each!

I agree bumbershoot, plus one could probably ask for a refill, and receive it.

Capt. Bane, the cup holds @ 12 ounces of drink.

KK, your plan sounds like a very good and tasty one as well! :)
